• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hmm, I missed this thread starting back up the other day, but it seems someone has given me a negative karma rating under the false belief that my fauna account is one of this Chris Bradenburg's fakes. I just wanted to reiterate for anyone who failed to read anything prior to page 11 that I am NOT the same person as this Chris Bradenburg or Russel Larson, or whatever other alter ego he may be going by this week, nor am I associated in any way with the aforementioned individual. Thank you.

I took a look. The person corrected it by giving positive karma, which means you ended up with a net positive from that person. Plus an extra positive from another person. :thumbsup: You're all good.

Thanks, I noticed that as well. I wasn't too particularly concerned with the actual karma points, but more so with the fact that after having this resolved 4 months ago I was still confused with the other party after the thread was revived. After that I felt it was necessary to clear my name again, so to speak.
