    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

[email protected] is her email.I'm new at this but thanks to Stephanie.....I'm learning. I forgot to put my full name on my first messages.

I encourage everyone to consider and hear both sides of any story before commenting on someone he or she doesn't even know.

Here's my side....Unfortunatly, Stef continues to be misleading with her comments thus far. I bid on and won a ball python Stef had pictured and indicated that it was a CB snake. I paid her and received the snake in due time. Upon arrival the snake was a female (she said it was a male), it was infestited w/ ticks, and it appeared to be quite malnourished. My experience told me that this was a WC animal. Not only did it appear to be WC, but it was not the animal pictured in the auction.

I cancelled the payment. Friendly Stef found out and decided to get petty and entered a negative comment about me on Repti Bid. I did the only thing I could do and that was to enter a comment about her. She saw this comment and threatened me with the BOI. Although I have been in the reptiile trade for several years, I had never even heard of the BOI. I quickly discovered what it is.

Friendly Stef didn't stop with the BOI. She tracked down my phone number and began leaving threatening and obscene messages on my family's answering machine. I have a small child. Now b/c of her antics, she will have to answer to the U.S. Department of Commerce.

My advice....Stef is an inherently evil person and a dishonest reptile trader. She should be avoided. I have a number of referances available, including officials at Repti Bid.

Ryan, why did you start another thread and waist web space? Webslave, how about you delete this since it's just a repeat of another thread? An EXACT repeat considering he just copied and pasted from the other thread...

Also, what proof is it that I was banned from reptibid? Also, blckkat ISN'T my username on reptibid. I believe proof on YOUR banning (and since you were forced to sneak back in and change your username to sell behind the webmasters back) was placed on the other thread.

Hey Rich dont you have to post YOUR full name on threads or is that just everybody else that comes to the site.
 
As much as I hate to undercut another member of the "Darin Club," I have to point out that Ritchie's real name is used as his screen name.

That's the other way one can ensure that his full name is used on every post of his. Me, I use my real name as my screen name AND in my signature line. Kind of like using a belt AND suspenders!

I do see why Darin would question Ritchie about his full name. If I had never added my full name to my signature, I wonder how many emails I would have gotten starting with "hi Mr. Fig". What would be said if someone were to post under the name "Smith's reptiles", and in the signature it only said "John". I have a feeling that John Smith would be asked by more than one person to add his full name even though it is in the post.

I understand what you are saying, and it is for that reason that I use my full name in BOTH ways. However, in relation to the stated rules of the BOI, there is nothing wrong with how Ritchie Luna identifies himself. The BOI TOS states the following rather clearly:


"ALL messages that are posted either for or against someone else, MUST have a full name to the post and a valid email address. ANY message that does not have both will be considered an anonymous posting and be subject to being deleted with NO warning. Identification is NOT required for someone making an inquiry or posting innocent INFO.


"I know a lot of you probably are used to using initials or nicknames or such to identify yourself to the internet world. I use it myself much of the time (Rich Z). But for THIS forum please include your full name, assuming that not everyone is going to know you. As an example of what I would consider appropriate would be something like Rich Zuchowski (Rich Z), or something equivalent."


There has been some gray area concerning what constitutes the "innocent INFO" of that first cited paragraph, but the final analysis lies solely in Rich Z's hands as the WebSlave. For me, it is just far too easy to modify the sig line for all of my posts to worry about it!

Off topic

This will be my last post to this thread as I have nothing to offer about the parties involved. I do believe however, that the comment made by Joe S. is not the innocent type refered to in the TOS, and that a full name should be tegged to that type of post.

Since this situation is obviously not a miscommunication, but one in which someone is blatantly lying, there's going to have to be some proof given.

Now, we've seen (in the other thread) from Stef emails from the auction site claiming that you'd been banned.

Can you provide some proof of any of the facts that Stef is disputing? Receipt numbers, information from PayPal about your payment to her, shipping info, pictures, emails from the Webmaster of the auction site, anything at all?

If you can, do so. If you can't, say so, and everyone can then base their opinion of both you and Stef on what exists already, and the thread can end.

DO NOT continue to make statements that you can't back up, because it's useless.

Either get R. Waters to come here and post, or post the emails that back up that statement.

It's getting ridiculous. Think about it. If I started a thread that said "Ryan sent me a dozen dead snakes", didn't provide pictures, receipts, or any other sort of documentation, but just continued to add details to the story, wouldn't you be jumping up and down??

Proof, Ryan. We gotsta see some proof!
 
Terese- thank you for showing at least a thread of objectivity. I could write emails from the Repti Bid webmaster too and claim they came from him. What would that solve?

I was told by the webmaster that she is under investigation, I was not banned from the site, and that those emails were never written to her.

Additionally, I don't like to post other people's words without there permission. This is a concept that Ritchie and Stef may want to consider.

Reptibid is an advertiser and a member here. If he/she will post, that would clear up a lot. If Stef has manufactured false emails from their Webmaster, they would certainly want to address that.

Has anyone informed Reptibid of this thread, since they are so directly involved?
 
I have of course. They have not replied to me yet (I just sent the email out yesterday, I can post it if you'd like) but then again it took them a week + to get back to me on having a problem switching my email address (and I did just send the email out yesterday).

Further more, I'd be happy to give Ritchie the password to my email account so he can verify himself that the emails were sent from the webmaster at reptibid.
