    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Beware of Steve Weissman aka Santa Cruz Reptiles

Sorry to up almost 2 years old thread. I think I better post my inquiry in this thread though, here's my reasons.

I'm very interested in several ball pythons of Santa Cruz reptiles. I would like to know first how the matter of this thread been solved.

If it's not, then I wouldn't even contact Santa Cruz Reptiles. That's why I think I better post in an old thread.

I never had one issue with steve, he was 110% honest with me sh@% i missed a bunch of payments as long as he got his money by the date we set down he didnt care when he recieved payment. He was great to me he even shipped me a nice male caramel albino shipped it on a saturday had them hold it at fedex office i picked it up. Everything went 110% in my opinion so to me this is a really fishy story. thanks hope this gets worked out to me i think someone probably ended up stealing the darn snake during shipping just my guess though.
 
Kyle, fishy??? might want to if nothing else check into Who the witnesses are that saw the empty box.. Your mister 110% did 110% commit Fraud. and did 110% rip David off and added to it by 110% lying his ass off. And if you read even more you'll find he did it more than once.

Yeah they stole the snake and managed to come up with an exact duplicate of the air bill with Steve's signature on it to replace the one that had to be removed. Yeah sure if your that gullible I have some prime ocean front property in New Mexico that you'll just love..

The guy your giving kudos to is a thief and liar, add to that his inability to live up to his own terms of service.. Hey even if someone had the wherewithal to do what you suggested the simple fact of the matter is that David didn't receive his snake and by Steve's terms of service he owes David a snake or money. Sort of hard to come to any conclusion other than the fact that Steve 110% owes David . Wonder what you'd say here if you got an empty box?

I sent Steve an Email yesterday letting him know his thread was active again and on top of the BOI. Always get a kick out of people throwing around the L word. Here's what he had to say.

Guess he wasn't happy !!!! If by some chance this was taken care of funny how neither he nor David bothered to set the record straight here. Doc you have any details or info on this since it happened?? Steve obviously came here last night and read what was being said and didn't bother to add any details.

Wonder what ever happened to the police investigation?? Irregardless of whether Steve replaced the animal or not he did send an empty box and then tried to place the blame on David which is more than enough to make him a Bad Guy!!

Cool Morph?

I'm very interested in purchasing one of these extremely rare ball morphs. I mean $7,500.00 is actually very reasonable for an invisible-air ball morph that doesn't need packaging to be shipped illegally. Do they eat invisible-air F/T rats or mice? I want a seller that has an invisible-air TOS which includes the option to be insulted, improperly accused and I want my home states political majority to be attacked in every reply if I'm unsatisfied that an invisible air-ball morph is actual that: invisible-air. Where do I send the money? I'll send cash via UPS, don't worry if the UPS driver steals it, I'll just keep sending more...Can anyone help me find a seller like this?
 
he sent david another snake i know that i called steve yesterday so who knows at least david did get a snake maybe 2 who knows. I know i trust steve 110% and id have to tell you all to give him a try i bet he wont stear you wrong

Let me see if I have this right....Steve got busted trying to rip someone off.....Steve didn't want to honor his own TOS.....Steve tried to blame the missing animal on other good, honest folks.....now according to Steve, he sent the guy another snake, (maybe two, but you don't know for sure, even though you just talked to Steve)....and after all of this, we can surely trust Steve when he says he sent the guy something?

And this all makes him a "good guy" that won't steer you wrong, and can be trusted 110%?

Wow, I've got to digest that one for awhile. :eek:

So if I am reading this right, because you sent him an e-mail, he is willing to have his attorney contact you, but if you had called him, he would have been respectful and not offended. :shrug01:

Oh, I met an attorney last night that he can use. he was living out of his car, but used to make "billions of dollars", wait a minutes, it was "12 million dollars a year", sorry he kept changing his mind and he was also a cop. So he can really take care of Steve.
 
Yeah Micheal been shaking in my boots( I do wear boots lol) since I got that.. Well I guess it is easier to bend the truth(or just toss it) in a phone conversation IE no witnesses.

Was hoping Doc would see this thread back up top and comment , if he doesn't soon I'll PM or email him to see what he knows.. Randy

I just called David in order to find out what happened directly from him (I honestly couldn't remember what the eventual outcome was...other than it was a little shady)...

So, here's the Reader's Digest version:
David filed charges against Steve through the police department here in Overland Park, KS. The detective here in OP then contacted detectives in the Fresno police department. Dave was then contacted by the detectives in Fresno in order to make sure that they had all of the information correct.

While doing this, Dave found out that this wasn't the first time that this kind of situation had arisen concerning Steve. Apparently, right after Dave received an empty box from Steve, someone else did too (someone in Georgia). Well, the whole situation was suspicious enough to the detectives that they investigated the matter (this whole process took several months).

Then one day late in the spring/early summer (4-6 months later), Steve emailed Dave out of the blue, and told him that he was shipping him a super pastel. He did not admit guilt, or wrong doing, and he was still trying to blame the shipping company, but he sent David a snake none the less. Apparently, the alternative was to face charges. :shrug01:

Since he received the snake, Dave dropped things legally, and chalked it up to a lesson learned.
 
So I guess according to Steve...In the immortal words of Al Bundy "It's only cheating if you get caught". If I ever bought from this guy....never mind...if anyone out there is dumb enough to buy from this guy in the future, might I suggest 2 witnesses and a video camera when the package arrives!

:rofl: What can I say? I've got skill. Plus my eyes are burning. I think the fact that he posted once speaks volumes about the entire ordeal. The fact that he never gave a solid defense and basically didn't care about his reputation says more than the 20 pages of weight conversions and possible scenerios. :yesnod:
 
So the bottom line is stay away from him. If you have to go through all that to get something you paid/trade for,I'll pass. At least Dave got his snake. Hey Doc, do you know if the other people got theirs?
