• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Beware.... The Reptile Ranch

KS Forums

I also have a problem with KS TOS. I’m not allowed to post any buyer beware information or inform anyone of the posts here. I wonder how many people are completely oblivious of their reputation.

Yes, I understand what you’re saying. I was suspended for posting "Buyer Beware" information on another lowlife. They did lift the suspension but it sure did make me appreciate Fauna even more.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Information most certainly goes around. Especially with a little help. :hehe: It’s not that big of a community.

Their name is well known in a few of the forums already. Actually, they have been the topic of more than one thread on KS. Their name has been left out of course.

You’re Not Going To Believe This

We contacted The Reptile Ranch by phone to ask why they haven’t responded to these posts. This was their answer “We don’t support any website where the owner of the site supports the killing of animals.”

What kind of answer is that?

Just when you thought someone couldn’t sink any lower they prove you wrong.
The only person killing anything around here is Laura and her horrible shipping methods.
Laura, how many animals have you killed now?

The last time they were asked, why they would not respond to charges on the BOI it was this instead.
I sent them an email a couple weeks ago letting them know. They responded telling me they have 100% customer satisfaction.

I guess they know they can’t get away with that answer anymore.

“We don’t support any website where the owner of the site supports the killing of animals.”

...Could they be referring to rodents in general? :D

That is one incredibly lame attempt to cloud the real issue . What that actually means is " We don't respond to websites which publicly display our shady business practices and reveal our true character "

Their moto must be from Monty Python's Holy Grail

"Run Away!! Run Away!! Run Away!!"

A really stupid answer.

To the Reptile Ranch..."It is better to remain silent and seem guilty than to speak and remove all doubt".

The Final Note

I just wanted to let all of you know that all the snakes that I bought from Laura have been euthanized, in order to prevent the spread of whatever it was that was making them sick. I hope that no one ever does any business with them. I laughed at some pictures of some snakes they were trying to sell, where they were obviously very underwieght, including a Woma and adult corns. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your loss . I had a feeling those animals would not recover .
I see they are still posting animals for sale , although they keep posting the same animals over and over as if they are having trouble finding unsuspecting customers to prey upon . Perhaps word is getting out to avoid these two all all cost . I hope all of their sales come to a screeching halt . The BOI works !

We share in the tragic tale

We know this an old post but just felt the need to add our words. We purchased 3 snakes from the Reptile Ranch and we too have had some serious health issues. One snake did die and it left our vet very upset and Jay and I were crying because we couldnt help her. The other two have been slow to eat and grow but now after 6 months, they are eating great and growing and are healthy!!! Recently I tried to email them and it came back to me. Oh well, live and learn. Sad to think they could be putting out nice animals but just dont seem to have it down. Always could have been an infection or other disease from an animal they brought into their collection. Guess that is why we have the BOI available to us.

PJ & Jay,

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Plain and simply, these people just don’t care. They are the worst sorts to have in this hobby. Laura and her business have nothing to do with quality healthy animals. They’re in it for the money. Not a drop of customer service to be found. Calling it like I see. Scum!

My humble opinion.

Completely appalled

By the pictures of those poor animals and practically in tears that they had to be put down due to R.R.'s neglect. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Hopefully they'll be shut down and no longer be accepted in the reptile community and be able to sell sickly half dead reptiles.

I too had a horrid experience with Reptiel Ranch. I purchased three geckos from them. Two weeks later two were dead. I am going to check into reporting these horrible people to the local ASPCA. Their website lists their location, and my deal gone horribly wrong happened just last month. Breeders such as this deserve to be shut down, not only so that they can no longer bilk a trusting public, but so that they can no longer ABUSE animals through inbreeding, inadequate feeding, and overall neglect.

Wish me luck.

Sorry to here about that Jim that really sucks. I have asked the reptile ranch in the past to send me a pic with a soda can beside a RTB that I wanted to buy. The picture of the boa they wanted to sell me was over 6 months old. I asked them If they could send a current one and they said "sorry we are to busy to be sending pictures", wonder if that was because the boa was under weight or did not look the same? Usually when someone wants me to send them a pic I would or if I was busy I would still send it later. Makes you wonder....

We never received a thing from them. In fact, they acted like they didnt know what the heck I was talking about when I emailed them with my issues on the snakes. They even offered to sale me yet another one of their corn snakes...:bolt01: .

Sorry to hear that. It seems they are now selling "hets." With a business motto like this
I myself have received animals that I questioned too and rather than start an all out war, per my attorney, I have been instructed to keep in mind that "that is the cost of doing business".
Everyone should know, it would be highly unlikely that they would follow-through with backing their animals, if they failed to prove out.

No , I have not received one dime of the $250.00 they stole from me . I guess I won't be getting a Chrismas card either . I would be extremely leery of "hets" purchased from the Reptile Ranch .
