    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Beware.... The Reptile Ranch

Sure, but I asked for pics...got em. Asked for more pics and got pics of same snakes in diff area. I'm not saying it proves het's...just satisfied ME. No matter what, hets can only be proven through breeding.(or dna?) There is a lot more that made me feel comfortable with the trade and having a reasonable assurance what I was thinking I was getting, I was getting. I can only tell you all my honest opinion. I am not here to persuade anyone, just give my opinion. If I had read all the previous posts, I doubt I would have done business in the first place with them, but I did and it wasn't bad, save for the snakes dying 3 weeks after they were received by them.

Exactly. So it doesn't matter how many pics you ask for, it doesn't prove anything. All you're doing is wasting your time. I could take pictures all day long of an albino BP, and still send you a box of normals at an inflated price claiming they're hets.

I was talking to a guy at the pet store yesterday who's big into BPs (yet knows nothing about their genetics), and he was telling me he's going to pick up an adult pair of het albinos for $200. Says he knows the guy and he's just trying to clear up space... I'm thinking the pair didn't prove out and he wants to dump them on someone, and this guy is an EASY target. He was telling me one day that female balls are hard to find (yet they had a monster of a female for sale that day), and wanted to see if he could breed his het albino to my adult female to see if we'd get any albinos... I had to explain to him how he needed another het to make albinos, poor guy.

If the computer was stuck on caps wouldn't all of the letters be in caps? And if that's the case, you can go to Walmart and get a new keyboard, problem solved.
 
This Is Kinda Off Subject But Ive Heard Of 2 Proven Het Albino Bp's Produceing A Small Litter With No Albino's. You Never Know.

That's always possible. But if you go a few clutches and don't produce anything other than normals, odds are one or both are not het.
 
Ok, not to stir the pot or anything here. We shared our experience with The Reptile Ranch and the het issue before. Maybe if anyone was to warn this seller about a triple het from there, should be asked if they have breeding proof ie parents, genetics involved, and possible just sell the triple as "purchased from The Reptile Ranch as a triple het", that would cover the sellers behind.
We asked about the hets and so forth and here is the partial response we got.
Laura's reply to our emails as follows:
As far as het, I have crossed several different morphs with other morphs to create things. The miami I believe is a cross from a hypo to a miami which would then make the miami het for hypo. the others unfortunately, I cannot remember as I have so many other projects going on and we have moved our houses so many times, breeding info has gotten lost. We produced all of them ourselves.
Our Miami was the major issue and she sadly passed away shortly after arriving here. It's a buyer beware world out there. We sell our snakes with as much information as we can give someone. We ask about the parents and if they are registered teh ACR...one way to know what you are getting for sure...like AKC dogs! Maybe that is just us but we dont ever want anyone to feel about us as we have about them.

Vinny, if your "Caps lock" was stuck, ALL of the letters would be capitalized. That, and you stated on another thread that you purposely typed them that way, and you didn't care if it annoyed people you would keep doing it. That, and when you sign your name, "vinny" ISN'T capitalized. We're not stupid, Vinny.

But yes, it is very possible to have a clutch out of 2 hets that do not produce any visuals, statistics don't always go in your favor. Even so, though I can't say one way or another whether or not these hets are for real, I wouldn't trust their word for it after all of the other BS they have lied about.

Covering your behind is one thing, but if you truly had doubts that an animal was a het, I just can't see how anyone could sell it that way, I know my conscience wouldn't allow it.....and it isn't going to make you feel much better knowing your "butt is covered" when the person you sold it to complains of never producing anything but normals.

First Of All Detective Cat When I Posted Every Other Letter On The Thread Subject My Comp Wasnt Stuck And I Took The Time To Print Every Other Letter Capital And Lower Case. If You Quote The Rest Of That Convo Youll See I Corrected Myself And Said Every Other Letter Not Word. As Far As In The Reply Box Or In The Box After The Thread Subject This Is How It Prints Im Not Gonna Hit The Shift Key At The Begining Of Every Word Without Scewing Up Some Were And If You Check My Posts The Capitals In The Beginning Of Every Word Is 100 Percent Consistent.its Alittle Different When Its A 5 Letter Subject As Aposed To A Composition Of A Post I Purposely Did It On The Thread Subjects Because I Felt Like It Made My Thread Stand Out And Stopped Doing It After That Before My Caps Got Stuck So I Didnt Annoy People. I Love The Fact That U Have Such Pathetic Life That U Have To Search For Posts Posted Months Ago Just To Try To Prove Someone Wrong About Something Your Like A Vulture Circleing Around Waiting For Someone To Make A Mistake On Something So You Can Search To Years Back So You Can See If They Contradicted Themselves. Well Detective Cat This Is A Case That You Havent Cracked....get A Life!

Vinny......there is a space between the period and the first letter of the word "its" in your post.

When you apply the "caps lock", ALL OF YOUR LETTERS ARE CAPITALIZED.
