    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think Tom Pecanic, who knows all parties involved, would have given some sort commentary on what was said if Brian was even making the slightest attempt at resolving this.

Now the plot thickens with another disgruntaled customer in another country. :NoNo: I wonder how many more will come out of the woodwork now because David had the courage to stand up to Goliath.
 
Toms not gonna speak for other people,and shouldn't have to.I do agree,that we probally will see others who have had issues come forward,and some probally wont want to go thru the drilling of the BOI.
 
I'm wondering still; why does the customer base not deserve a response?? Do we mean this little?? BHB advertises on this site; but can't/doesn't respond to this thread?? Nobody is that special imho...
 
All the parties involved with the exception of BHB have spoken more then once and do not need anyone to speak for them I'm sure. I do agree that the failure to say anything from BHB does NOT look good.

I also think it's silly to look at it as a David vs Goliath point of view, except the OP's name is David :D. The reptile industry is a small niche community and the screwing over of anyone, little or big, by anyone little or big makes the rounds rapidly.

I'm sure as others have said other people will post about neg experiences with BHB as others will only have great things to say. I know for a fact that you CAN'T make everyone happy all the time and the more dealings you've done the greater the chance to have a neg. experience. IMO.
 
i havent seen this thread in a couple days. i cant believe its still going. things happen. i have been screwed over before. its life, live and learn, buyer beware, all the cliches. not sayin either party is in the clear, or has all the right or all the wrong. my point is, this happens. people can either decide if they still wanna deal with any of the parties involved in the future or not. why is this still going on. its been just endless dribble for soooooo long

I am glad that Derek was able to decipher what it is that went wrong. Others of us are left wondering. Were snakes shipped and lost in shipping? This was an international order, and I am sure numerous things could have gone wrong. Can you tell us which it is?
 
A full email trail, including headers with dates/times would be very helpful in this case. It would very simply provide proof of the entire incident along with response times and lack of resolution.

Would also help us understand exactly what happened so you don't get a billion questions asking about every little detail.

they were sent to Hamm, germany for collection but were a day late,the guy who was holding them then disappeared (found out that he had moved house and changed phone number.)
