    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

When I visited the show in Tinley in the fall, I bought a reverse Okeetee corn snake for my girlfriend from BHB. About a month later, the snake mysteriously died. I emailed Brian and explained the situation to him- her temps were fine, she had been eating great, she was good one day and the next had died for no known reason. Brian was nice enough to offer to cover the price of the replacement, plus half of the shipping for a new snake. It was an offer he didn't have to make for a $30 corn snake, especially since the cost of shipping was more than the cost of the snake itself. Brian and the crew at BHB are great, and he is definitely one of the good guys in my opinion. I'm just one of the "little guys" and Brian was nice enough to help me out and replace this snake. She arrived yesterday safe and sound, and the girlfriend seems more than happy. Thanks again, Brian and I would be more than happy to be a return customer in the future!

This corn snake was bought for me in October, and although I am in Florida and Justin is in Indiana, I saw her on web cam today and she looks great! I was really surprised when Justin told me that Brian made this offer. I know it wasn't for a lot of money, but he could have easily brushed this off and not helped in any way, especially since I don't think Brian was to blame. This just seemed to be one of those random things that happened because there were absolutely no signs that she was sick.

Brian is a good guy. For being one of the largest breeders in the world and having his own tv show in the works, he doesn't treat anyone like they are the small guy. Just makes you think when you hear stuff like this, how much of the negitives are true and/or unstreched?
