    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It's been awhile for me, and I had forgotten how big bullsnake eggs are. The first two pics are of mom laying. The last one is part of her clutch with a few things for comparison. The smallest egg is a greybanded king, the small long one is a sinaloan milk, and (of course) a dollar bill to put things in perspective.

(I used 100% sphagnum peat moss as egg laying media this year...the milk and king eggs sat in it overnight, hence their appearance)

they're bigger than my woma or jungle/diamond eggs

If they were a little less elongated in shape, they would be pretty comparable to burm eggs (though I haven't bred them in about as long)
 
I had two

Female Kings lay unusually large eggs this year, both were bred by the same male.. They are twice the size of your normal King eggs :shrug01: :shrug01:
 
Holy Cow those are HUGE!! Congrats on the eggs, any special bull snakes you are planning on hatching out?
 
That's AWESOME! Congratulations! You're going to have to keep all of us posted in how they're doing? I know this will not be for a while, but please post photos of your babies!
 
Congrats

I was just talking to Don Soderburg at South Mountain about that very thing a few days ago. He was amazed even after all these years of breeding at the size of some bulls he had lay the other day. He was laughing that if it had been a corn the female would have had 15 or so eggs. She ended with only 7 if I remember right. Amazing animals and it always gives me pause to wonder about the way of nature and the niches these guys evolve to fit into.

Anyway congradulation on some beautiful eggs, post some pics when they hatch.
