    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So breed what I thought was a het clown to 3 PH clowns and got 3 clutchs. Well I cut the first clutch open about a week ago and seen 4 normals. well long behold after coming out the eggs I have only 1 normal and 3 axanthics lol. bad part is I dont know what line they are now. but at least I hit that 25% odd on 3 of 4 eggs.

Thank you Brian, now if only if i was really lucky and still get a clown in 1 of the other two clutchs im about to cut. that way i would have some clowns ph axanthic and some axanthic ph clowns. lol I can dream.
 
Were the poss hets off spring of the daddy? Is it possible that the person who sold you the het clown mixed it up with a het axanthic instead?

And congrats on nailing the odds!
 
Yeah, I'm not sure how to feel about finding axanthics when you're expecting clowns; however, I'm sure knocking the odds out of the park has you feeling great right now! Can't wait to see what you discover next week. Best of luck with those 2 clutches!!
 
A bizarre surprise, for sure. Too bad it wasn't like the first Axanthic Pied and you accidentally get an Axanthic Clown out of the mix. :(

But yeah, nice odds, at least!

Yes the PH were offspring of the daddy and it is very possible they mixed up het clown with het axabthic. but even after I told him axantics came out he still swears it was het clown. either way it dont really bug me to bad considering I paid less then normal breeders are sold for so its still a win win. yes clowns would have been sweeter in my eyes but im still happy with the axantics.

Yeah not seeing clowns was a bummer and seeing all normals did kinda suck at first. but as soon as they came out i was happy again, even if there axanthics it better then all normals lol. And yes I wont lie, I am very stoked about hitting the 25% odds on 3 of 4 eggs lol
