    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I can't figure out if I should just block you from accessing this site for the obvious attempts you are making at starting up a flame war, or just laugh at your actions along with almost everyone else watching your antics here.

So tell me, just what is it that you are trying to prove?
 
I'm 50/50 about that one, Webslave. I think Bill's posts are rather unintelligent, wasteful, and too much noise. Not enough signal. On the other hand, Bill provides us with a continual source of amusement.  Can't stop lmao on this one. Okay, for the record, I haven't done business with nor do I know anyone that has posted here, well except the almighty Webslave ;P

But this thread is ridiculous.  There is alot of beef with Bill Cagle here, and from what I have been reading here and from what I have been told by others about him and his practices, it appears well deserved.  I for one have no intentions of ever doing business with him.  

But no matter what, Craig Hulsey came here to relate a good experience and it got denegrated into a pissing contest, with Mr. Cagle being the star pisser.  You win, you have made a complete (explitive deleted) of yourself on this forum and probably lost more customers.  Mr. Cagle, what I don't understand is, if the thread started as a compliment to your service, why on earth would come here and be a complete (explitive deleted) in the same thread where the poster talks about how professional you are?!?!?!  

I agree that this thread should not have turned into what it has, but it seems this is the kind of thing the BOI seems to attract(no offense intended Webslave), a bunch of immature people trying to toss zingers at each other, ESPECIALLY when Mr. Cagle's "good" name is involved.  Personally, if Bill Cagle  can only defend his "good" name by calling everyone in the herp community IDIOTS, what good is he doing even trying to defend himself?

But hey, that's just my take on it.  Sorry to rant, but not THAT sorry :\
 
dont ban cagle.thats what he wants..a new reason to complain he cant come and explain his side of things.

I agree, Kim. I remember him posting through a friend complaining of his inability to access the BOI. Let the man speak. However, this reincarnation of a topic should be moved over to the reptile general discussion board. Come on over. I just want to say I have been reading this post from the beginning and I have been trying to follow along on its crazy rollercoaster ride.  I usually am just a observer and read what others post, not really posting anything myself...but I just had to throw in my two cents here.

This post started out as a "Good Guy" post, turned into something else entirely, and started to get ugly.  But then the original purpose of the post was brought back into context and as far as I could tell, it seemed like the thread was getting back on track...that is UNTIL Bill Cagle makes a post that I just can't believe I'm reading.  And to top it off, yet another entirely ridiculous (in my opinon) post by Mr. Cagle to follow.  It just doesn't make any sense to me why he would say such things about people in the herp community when it is these very people that he depends upon for his business.

Maybe his posts weren't directed specifically at me...in fact, they most likely weren't, but as a member of the herp community, I took offense to what Mr. Cagle wrote in both of his posts.  

I'll admit, Mr. Cagle has some awesome looking animals in the ads I see him put up on Kingsnake.com.  Some of them are drop dead gorgeous screamers, but personally, I would not  purchase anything from Mr. Cagle simply because of the way he has presented himself here on the BOI.  The way that someone who owns a business or is in business presents themselves is very important to most (potential) customers and it doesn't appear to me how Mr. Cagle could possibly gain any new (or maybe even repeat) customers from the way he has presented himself here.  

Just my opinion...

Bill, there was once a time when I respected you, but not anymore. You're doing a pretty good job of shooting yourself in the foot each time you type one of your ad hominem attacks. All that you've succeeded in doing on this message board is placing yourself of the same level a such wonders as Joey Smith & Brian Rogers.

Fred Albury, Alan Hall, Kim Feltz, Neil Gubitz aren't to blame for your childish outbursts. The only one responsible for your immature behavior is you.

That being said, let me address one other thing that you said...

Apparantly Bill, he either taught you wrong, or it went in one ear and out the other. Winners don't rely on ad hominem attacks when constructing an argument. They know that it only weakens their credibility, as it has yours.

That being said, I know that I have put myself next on your ad hominem list, but don't plan to respond to such attacks in kind. There's much to be said about professionalism Bill, and that really is something that you should take to heart.

OK, now I guess this is probably running through the heads of many of you reading this thread, since it certainly did pop into mine, but is this REALLY Bill Cagle posting those derogatory comments?  Well folks, I matched up the email address in the registration log with the email addresses I have gotten from Bill in the past, and yup, they do match up.

I actually thought that one of the Bill Bashers had logged in under his name in order to damage his reputation this way, but it appears he is doing that himself.  I can only assume that Bill does not care how he comes across here and his reputation has made him unassailable no matter how he treats people in a public message board.  I have no opinion either way, as I am not a boa person and do not have any idea about his non-internet reputation, but I certainly would be surprised to learn that his low opinion of people in general is only evident here.

So this is just to reassure those people thinking that these have been hoax messages being posted in Bill Cagle's name.

BTW, this is one of those cases where I allow a flamewar to continue, regardless of my rules, when the flamer is the one burning his own feet with his flames.
