hahahahahahahahaha you guys are soooooo funny did you guys get together and think that one up or did it fall it to place? you know i thought capt cungle's "cungleers" were just a bit quite . were have you guy been hideing? maybe you guys can get intouch with your hero and ask him why he would sell animals as hypo hoggs when they werent sold to him as such. im sure seeing as he's such a nice guy he'll have a good reason for calling them such.

 

[Reptile Basics]

1) Cagle has obviously ripped off some people on the hypoXhogg scam. I have no idea how many but I hope there are no more. Please refer to the second sentence in my last post. There is NO reason that Cagle would be justified in describing those boas as hypo hoggs.
2)I am not his "buddy" and never have been. I have had positive dealings with him where I have sold him some animals. All went very smoothly. That is all the contact I have ever had and at this point ever wish to have. After this he will get no more from me because I would be worried it would turn up as a "jungle/hypo/hogg/cungle/albino sibling" or something and I do not wish to participate in that.
3)I have been quiet, but watching, because until the most recent pic there has been virtually zero new info on this growing thread that someone else not familiar with the situation would learn anything from. It has been almost entirely you continuing to beat a horse that everyone has already identified as dead. Do you like to hear yourself type? Is this an attempt to get your number of posts up?? Can someone agree with you without posting useless chatter constantly?
4)your "cause" would seem to be to warn others of the cagle scams. Great, but the longer you make this thread the less likely someone is going to read it all and the less likely you will acheive your goal. Darkside just fanned the flames with you and I dont think that was a great idea and it contributed nothing to this. But it was a bit funny and you responded exactly as expected.
5)Is it not possible that Darksides snake(s) are in fact doing well even though Cagle may be a crook?? Good for him and I hope ALL of his animals continue to do well. Yours too for that matter.

Well thanks for looking at the pic. The week I got it a local around me said I dunno it looks like a hogg somewhat but a hypo nah. Well then I saw a real hypo/hogg it was stunning compared to mine. I just sold him to get some of my cash back.

Cagle update

Bill still isn't answering the phone or returning my emails. If anyone is still in contact with him please let him know I won't forget and go away. I have kept Chris McQuade informed of the outcome of this per his request and feel like Chris is about as pissed as I am. Chris sent me a copy of the last email he sent to Bill. It follows.

Hello Bill,
After speaking to you a week or so ago about the boa that you sold to Stephen Kennedy. I told you he had sent me photos of the snake to identify it as one that came from our bloodline. It was obvious from the photo that it was just a normal Columbian Boa. I know over the past year you have bought a lot of baby Boas from us, but after checking our invoices, we did not sell you any Hypo Hogg Island Boas over the past year, in fact your last invoice was in March where you purchased 13 normal Boa constrictors and a pair of Bolivian Boas. On the normal Boas you were charged $70.00 each straight through and although they were from Hypo to normal breedings, none of these were represented to you as being Hypo or even questionably Hypo, just nice colored, well started, normal baby Boas, hence the price @ $70.00 each. We have always had high regard for you as a customer, you have always paid well and always were as good as your word with us, and we have had no complaints as far as our business dealings have went, however, if you sell something to someone as something other than what it was represented to you as, and our name gets dragged into it, we feel obligated to try to help resolve the issues. After talking to Stephen, he seems like a very nice guy who isn't prone to flying off the handle as you suggested he did. He only wants to clear this matter up and get either a refund or a replacement for the animal he has ended up with. After my conversation with you, the same day of talking to Stephen, you assured me that you would settle it amicably, with no problem. We all understand, mistakes can happen, and as long as they are corrected to everyones satisfaction, no harm done. We have recieved several additional e mails from Steve, he does intend to pursue this matter, and we would like to see this settled peacefully before it escalates any further. I hope you will let us know how you intend to proceed with this matter.

Chris says he is taking the high road and if Bill refuses to take care of this and continues this sort of business practices he will no longer supply him. I do believe Chris McQuade to be a man of his word and I just wished there where more dealers like him that put principle/ethics before money.

I received an interesting email as I was typing this. It is as follows.

Dear Mr. Kennedy,

My name is Stacy and I am Bill's wife. I have turned all of your e-mails and taped phone messages over to our sherrif's office. Please stop harassing and threatening our family or we will be forced to take legal action. If you would've handled this problem in an ample amount of time, then Bill would've sent you your money back or a replacement animal, or both, regardless of your reason. My husband gives away almost as many boas as he sells. This is our hobby and we do everything we can to assure 100% customer satisfaction. Mentioning the BOI to my husband was the wrong thing to do. That site is better known as the "Board Of Idiots" in the real reptile world. Your actions in the beginning and your threats have only pissed my husband off. The boa you bought is the result of a hypo to hogg breeding. It is one of the more normal looking offspring and was not misrepresented in any way. My husband said you have never even sent us a picture showing the animal in question. You have only posted slanderous and libel information and have now threatened us. We have spoken to our Attorney and he has assured us of our position in this matter.

That response from the "wife" royally pisses me off.. It is a typical con artists response.. Put enough pressure on a scum bag and they will pop off with the "I turned you into the police, and my attorney..blah blah blah". I really wish I was the one who was ripped off in this instance, as I would fully follow through with every legal action possible in this instance..

I also love the "hobby" part, I am sure if they did this merely as a hobby they wouldn't mind donating the 200k+ that Alan figured they have made off of selling misrepresented animals.

I truely hope people will look and see what kind of con artist Bill Cungle err.. I mean Bill Cagle is and avoid him at all cost.

Forget this and move on ain't gonna happen. I do feel sort of sorry for Bill's wife ... married to a crook and all. She might be a fine person and just "hooked" up with the wrong man or she might be a bigger crook than he. Either way I will not forget it and move on. In the end I believe it will cost me more than I lost to make it cost Bill but I believe it will happen.
