    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Oh and by the way, being a former UPS package handler and supervisor I can tell you that when employee theft is discovered, the shipping party is notified of the situation and UPS themselves will and do prosecute the offender.

Bill is a helpless piece o' crap. At least we think that's his name. Has anyone met this guy in person? It looks like it is already happening, him using another name and trying to make himself look like a changed citizen after his FELONY. He only has one place in the herp community and that's on the outside looking in.

My stepfather was a crook and a scammer and it was funny to watch people believe in him and him to play the same crap over and over on people. My sister and I saw all of it, my mother finally seeing it after she found out he stole 30K from her and he was living a double life. Thank god I was out of the house and in a different state by then. I might have ended up in jail.

I wonder if the pile of lies is the first step in the direction of the middle ground Bill was hoping to achieve. The only way I see him making it to the top is if he keeps on digging and comes out on the top of a mountain in China.

and being the lowest form of scum !! Not only all of the above by Joe and Jim others, but to clarify that the six named were insulted by Bill. Besides the theft and lying, you then go and take the six people who were most decent to you, and feed them a pile of BS in the hopes that they will continue to be strung along by your "insider information", and sink even deeper with you ?? Never thought I would say this of a member, but I wish the moderators would put up a poll not just to revoke Bill's "Good Guy" status, as they have done, but to permanently ban you from Fauna, now and in any future incarnation. Just to be sure, they can even require a supermajority, say 60% or more!

Just so you all know....I DID receive that in a PM as it was displayed.

I didn't feel it was my place to post it, nor was there any reason to post it, this thread has been in the toilet long enough....it's all just repeating the same crap over and over.....it no longer has a purpose as far as I'm concerned.

Beating a dead horse, as has been said.

I disagree. It is serving it's purpose very well. Especially in the light of some more recent news. This should remain at the top of the BOI for a reminder to all.....it does not pay to scam. You will be found out.

I don't think this thread should be locked and the only reason why this thread is in the toilet is because of Bill's actions.

IMO....A dead horse needs to be beaten especially if it lost the race on purpose.

It has absolutely nothing to do with protecting him. At the end of the email, he did ask that it not be made public until he posted the details of it. This is the same consideration I would afford anyone, regardless of who they are.

I did ask him why he did not immediately contact Lee and inform of the situation. I received no response.

Posting this email sooner would have accompished nothing but to drag this thread on longer and stir everyone up even further. Bill simply would have said police reports were not available and the guy had not been sentenced yet. Nothing would have been accomplished. I was not going to perpetuate this story without Bill being able to back it up with copies of police reports. I will not be a party to Bill or anyone else for that matter perpetrating a story they can not back up nor have the courage to post themselves.

That was and is certainly your right. I would have seen it, seen it stunk of manure and posted it. Anyone would know that Lee would have been informed of this by the authorities since the snake was stolen from HIM. It is extremely pertinent to this thread because it re-defines Bill as a chronic pathological liar and perhaps career criminal ("my 1st instinct oh what did I do now") instead of a poor sad soul with financial problems who made a one time "error in judgement". And that is why I would have posted it.

... which you honored, do you think that a scam artist would also use your trust and honor to further their cause, in this case hoping to keep you from further negative posts, and maybe even hoping you would make some neutral or semi-favorable posts, while you awaited the never-forthcoming public explanation? I respect you far too much to not already know how you would likely answer that, but raise the point for others to contemplate as they look at all of Bill's machinations here. Fun?....I don't know about that Dave...We can all kid around to some extent here and there about this.......but I think its profoundly sad really.

I know through this thread I have aquired at least 2 permanent Fauna enemies and a different opinion than I once had of a few others....Thats saddens me, but hey. maybe I'm just too sentimental.
 
For what it is worth, my motivation for posting the email when I did was the same as Jim's would have been if he were the one holding it. That last post was a light hearted poke.

Never said it didn't stink of manure, it certainly does. And I never said it wasn't pertinent to this thread. I just disagree with posting it immediately after it was received. That would have served no purpose but generate 50 new pages with no new info.

Now that the time frame Bill himself stated in the emails has passed, he has no reason not to come forward and post this information himself. The fact that he has not and has not come forward with any promised information is very telling.

Just imagine if this had been posted when Bill sent it. There would probably be atleast 50 new pages of posts by people asking Bill to post his proof, calling him all sorts of names, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Now Bill would do one of two things. He would post he would have the information in the time frame given or he would not post at all. Either way, no new information would be presented. Now here we are, after the time frame has passed, and Bill still has not posted.

Consider you are reading this thread for the first time. You get to that email, but now you have to wade through 50 pages of useless crap to find out if Bill post the promised info. I have had that happen to me and it pisses me off to no end. I will not be a party to perpetuating that kind of thing.

I like things in a nice neat little package. Waiting until now to post the email ties it and all the subsequent post together. They flow, they have continuity. IT ISN"T SPREAD OUT ALL OVER THE DAMN THREAD!

Give someone eough rope and they use it. By waiting, Bill was given ample oppurtunity to gather the required documentation to prove his claim. He failed to do that. He is now dangeling from the end of that rope.

Would I have posted that email? Eventually, yes. I have just been lazy and busy with my daughter and it just wasn't at the top of my priority list. Davey just happened to beat me to it.
 
I spent most of my morning posts prodding Bill, hoping for more than he was bringing. All he brought us today was lies. Every answer he gave me today was a lie, as shown by the email. The timing was right, and I seized the oportunity.
