Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

But just as people have pointed out more than once, that you have that freedom, I too have the freedom to say how I feel. And this is how I feel:

If you have truly chosen to be honest and a person of integrity, there is no reason to skulk around in private and attempt to engineer the silence of others with email. If on the other hand this is a snow job, you will get caught; (after all, you got caught already);
many of those those who inhabit the BOI have developed an uncanny intuition, have a keen sense of smell, and can detect Bull**** a mile away........

Indeed. Trust suddenly and completely shattered, and like a windowpane, it will not be the same again.
That is why this event was particularly heinous, we thought this person at one time was a stand up guy.......
 
First off, my apologies Bill

I am not your friend, nor do I have an ax to grind with you, but my comments here pull this thread back up again. I made posts critical of you earlier in this thread, and my but hasn't the pile grown high! I'm not going to waste time trying to analyze whether you deserve a second or third etc etc chance, whether you've had an epiphany, or whether you will always be whatever you were, as to each his own. We all know that people can change, but don't bet on it either. Some will always resent you, others not. My estimation about participation in this thread is that it swings wildly between moral conviction and entertainment, as is the nature of the BOI and the internet. I absolutely enjoyed the entertainment aspects of it, at the same time did not approving of your actions. The best way for this thread to slowly fade (and it will have an occasional resurrection) is for you to not respond. It is not easy, seeing your name up in unfavorable lights. But just get on with how you want to live your life, and whether its to stay in reptiles or not, I wish you well. You can change your mind every day for all I care. I do not mean to demean any of the convictions of others here, as they were very legitimate in my eyes, and much of the anger was proper and focused. Life will go on. Let me step down from this soapbox now. Some healing takes longer than others, but heal it will so long as the injured does not pick the scab. Back to life.

WTF!!! First off, with all due respect Chuck, you know nothing about me or my life, except what I put in print! Second, How dare you insinuate any kind of relationship between me or any other member of this board.

My personal life is just that, personal, my divorce has nothing to do with fauna or any of it's members, I used it as a comparison to some one else's misdeeds, you know,being in a wrold of hurt, but still atnding on my on my own 2 feet, and you have decided we're getting married.

How much Jerry Springer do you watch?? Get a life and stay out of mine!!! Sheesh

Laura, I know you fee protective of Bill, and that is fine, but you have to let him take care of himself. I do feel very strongly about that for more than one reason. He is a big boy, and very capable. You have to realize that others here may

Laura, I know you are friends with Bill, and that is fine, but you really need to step back and let Bill take care of himself here. By running to his aid every time someone posts something on this thread, you do exactly what you are trying to avoid. You have to realize there are people that will bring this thread back to life once in a while if they feel it necessary. It is their right, no matter how irritating you may find it. By coming here and defending him, you have exposed yourself to scrutiny and got yourself in an argument which is keeping this monster alive. If you and Bill can restrain from posting, it will help this thing to fade away as you both would like. Like I said earlier, others will add to it every now and then, but it will not be much if you two do not respond.

Bill, the same goes for you. Resist the temptation. Don't get baited in. Just let it go, do what you need to do and move on. It is as easy as that. Not everybody thinks of you the same way. That is life. Move on. Jim Flaherty hit the nail on the head. He speaks the truth. Follow what he says. It will only serve to help your cause.

Chuck, you know I like you, and I agree that Laura opened herself up for a few shots, but some shots are best not shot. I realize I may have taken it myself under different circumstances, but she is going through a rough enough time as it is.
 
Well, I do not know how that partial post happened to get there (I think I hit tab or something and I thought it deleted it). Anyway, sorry for that anyway.
 
I would have to agree that these animals are similar but do not appear to be the same..... Look at it this way .. you never got scammed..I would be more interested in hearing how you packaged your snake that it was able to get out of a sealed bag then out of a Styrofoam lined box? UPS is terrible. Too many reasons why to never use their services.

Chuck I am not quite sure why you asked the Lord about Bill, though I guess I will not question your motives. I do question why you decided to attack Laura with issuses that she is using to learn from. Is that not what we do, take our experiences and share them with others in hopes that it may help them in their times of need?

Bill, really, learn from those who are trying to help. Some will come on here to bash you, they only win if you continue to fight over one issue you are putting behind you and trying to move past(hopefully you are). Jim said it best:

Laura, forget what Chuck said, it is not worth flaring up over he is only looking for attention. Keep your friends close, whoever they may be. James has some good advice, worth looking into. We all know who you are and what you are worth, do not let Chuck bother you, we do not believe him anyway.
