In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Great guy, very honest and good communication! I was concerned about the 2 day shipping, but it was absolutely fine! The internal temp of the box was great, and my new snake came out warm and active from the get go! I highly recommend Billy. :)

As I stated in my post, I was concerned about the 2 day shipping. However, in my case, it was fine. The temps from there to here were moderate to say the least, and I decided to do it for a snake I had been trying to find for over a year.Billy and i discussed it before he shipped to decide the best way to ensure she arrived in good shape....and she did! I do have to say, it wasnt actually 2 days....I picked her up at the hub the night before her delivery day. Had I waited for her to be brought to me, that would have been 2 days. So, pick up at hub is a lot better!
This was my experience with Billy, and I stand by my good guy rating. :)

OK, hahaha, and I received a 1200 gram cinnabee from him. Sorry, forgot to actually answer your question. :)

The reason I ask is because it's not ok to ship snakes two day delivery. I'm glad yours made it fine but that's a big no no.

Are you saying the good people at Ship Your Reptiles lied to me and what I did was not OK? According to them a properly packaged snake is fine to ship that way. And it is actually overnight shipping because it does not leave Tulsa until the day before it delivers.

And honestly her snake was shipped and picked up ON THE SAME day! Talk about fast shipping!!! That ball python left Tulsa, OK on Tuesday morning and was in her hands Tuesday evening at 9:18 PM. Granted she did pick her up at the hub, but IMO it is hard to ship something half way across the country much faster than that!

The way I see it, it is not much different than if someone gets there package ready for shipping early one morning, takes their snake to work with them, leaves said snake in their office IN A CONTROLLED environment, then drops the snake off at a FedEx hub on their way home from work. It is still a one day shipment, the snake just has to stay in a package for a few more hours in a temperature controlled environment which is WAY better than riding around in a hot (or cold) truck all day.

Dustin is correct, all live animals must be shipped priority overnight shipping and this package was shipped priority overnight. However, Tulsa is a very unique situation. The Tulsa FedEx ships a lot of packages with dry ice in the evening and no live animals are allowed on the planes with those shipments. Live animal shipments must be shipped on a later flight. Since these packages reach Memphis later they are not shipped to the final destination until the next day, making the ship time a day and a half process.

Not an ideal situation for sure, the only other option we have found at this time for our Tulsa shippers is to make the long drive to Oklahoma City.

When these occasions do come up we make sure all shipping guidelines and standards are met and we monitor the package closely to ensure live arrival.

Thanks for clarifying Andy, not an ideal situation at all. Makes for a very limited shipping time frame for anyone shipping out of tulsa. And Billy I was not saying SYR lied or that you were doing wrong don't read into things more than what they are, I just stated a fact that it's not acceptable to knowingly ship using the 2 day option which turns out isn't the case. I hope they can fix this issue in the near future for everyone in that area.

Good Guy Billy Elliot

Last week I responded to Billy's ad for his 0.1 Pewter. We agreed on a shipped price and I sent him a USPS MO last Friday. It arrived this past Tuesday (Monday was the federal holiday). Communication was quicker from him to me than from me to him as my employer blocks personal email services from their intranet, so I could only respond in the evenings after work.

Billy shipped from the Tulsa, OK FedEx hub first thing yesterday morning so the package was on the first flight out to Memphis, TN. My husband picked up the little girl at 8:40 this morning at our local hub in Hagerstown, MD as we requested a hold for pickup at the hub. So, the "two day shipping" worked out to just over 24 hours in transit.

The snake we received is healthy, free of mites, and looks much better in person than in her pictures. I would buy from him again.
