    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I bought this guy for my sons birthday from Craig Montoya it's a great male to have in any collection. But, my son was set on a super butter bel I had so this guy became mine and the bel is his.

Anyway, this guy is awesome!!! His colors are great I bought him knowing he was a black bee with the possibility of russo. I had a black bee before and he did not look this good. This guy gets more orange and yellow with age. he is 700 grams now and I'm positive he has the russo gene, although I would still like to prove it out...

My camera sucks so it does not do him justice.

Ya, your right. I just cant believe how light he has become, my last black bee from Mike Willbanks was really dark and at 500 grams his peach sides started turning tannish/brown, I sold him when he was 1200 grams. This guy gets brighter yellow and his lower dark lines are fading out. But again you are right, I'm going to try proving him out this season to a proven lesser 6 egg producer, a 1500 gram mojave 1st timer and a 10 egg producing normal. Hopefully he does the deed!!!

Good luck!

Hey Russ, I am glad you are digging him. He certainly has colored up nicely. The only thing that keeps me from saying it has russo is the lack of blushing up the side.

The female quad I produced from that pairing was off white at birth and also has intense yellowing at this point. I have noticed it quite a bit over the last 6 months. I am not sure why such a drastic color change all of a sudden. Usually they begin to dull out after a year. I will try to post up a pick later today of her.
