We have available a few pairs of Black Pond Turtles. These guys have all been with us a few weeks and are eating anything offered. The females especially are voracious when it comes to fruits and plant matter but also consuming pellets very well. Not many pairs available, only about 5 or 6 pairs at this time. These guys came in very skinny and they really didn't look good enough to sell but after being in the sun, warm water and plenty of food they are coming around very well.
They are still considered recent imports in my book and they all have different degrees of imperfection either on the shell, plastron or physically (they still need to put on some weight in my opinion) but they are active, alert, eating and overall healthy.
This species is extremely underrated and rarely bred in captivity and numbers will definitely drop as far as imports go. Much like any turtle species, these guys need to be taken seriously and breeding projects started by as many people as possible.
Asking $120 per pair plus shipping. Can do better pricing if multiple pairs purchased.
Females will not be sold separately so please do not ask.

DOA claims must be made within an hour of receipt of the animal and must be accompanied by a photo of the animal in the shipping container.
In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for shipping the animals back properly. In the event of a DOA on our end when receiving returned animals, we will not issue a refund.
