• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

black red eye tree frog

Miles, I recall this being brought up in the classifieds section as well (probably by you) and the picture absolutely blew my mind; I've never seen one myself and began doing a little research as a good friend of mind is an avid frog keeper and just picked up several Red Eye's...these are just too cool!

Unfortunately, much like yourself, I could not find anything whatsoever! The only hit I could find on multiple search engines were threads identical to the link you posted...all started by Erik. It's my understanding that he actually sold that reverse trio group of the blacks on here a few years back.

I recall Erik frequenting a number of forums back in the day, but it looks like his site was last edited in 2007 = ( perhaps he has gotten out of the hobby for one reason or another. My only advice would be to visit his website (Erik's Reptiles), and shoot him an email. Perhaps he still accesses this email account from time to time and he may be able to give you a lead as to where he purchased these gems from - I believe he sold the group for approx $300?

Please keep us posted on any progress - sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hopefully someone has a clue as to where one can find these guys. I would like to thank you personally though for bringing these frogs to my attention, I'd have never known they even existed!
