    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i was thinking about getting a black throat moniter and i was wondering if anyone could help me with what i should put in her enclosure. Ex. substrate, hidouts, branches, plants . . . . .

so you are 14 and you are getting a black throat monitor? Impressive have you handled monitors before? do you have any expierince with reptiles? you do realise tat as an adult these lizards can reach antwhere from 4-6 feet in ength and are not like snakes they must be fed everyday and handaling is a must if you want a tame lizard that is actually handalable. I am only 14 like you and i own a 3 foot long black throat monitor. I thought an easy pet to care for and easily tamed. that was befor i just spent 300 dollars haveing a custom made cage and about 100 dollars in lights and accesorys not to mention about a 20 dollar food bill every month. all in all black throats are great pets but think before you go out and buy a lizard that could get bigger than you if you do decide to get a monitor heres a place to get cheap cages www.jnsdragons.com and if you need any help at all please feel free to email me at [email protected] im always willing to help

i have 2 argentina black and white tegus,2 flame belly armadillo lizards,3 red tail boa constrictors,2 jackson chameleons, and 1 hog island boa. My dad gave me my first reptile when i was 5, it was my hog island boa.
