    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Blaze Garrett snake paid for not in the shipment with others.....

UPS has that on their records because that is what the driver was told - it isn't "proof"...unless there was an itemized invoice in the box that the driver compared to the contents. Short of the driver having such evidence of the contents & checking himself, he was just documenting your claim.

*I'm not saying you made anything up, just clarifying that that piece of information.
 
I just cant imagine telling a UPS driver "hey, i'm missing a snake from this box, but dont worry because it was probably never shipped, and its not likely roaming around your truck or the hub. So don't worry about it popping up under your foot while your driving fella".

I mean....that had to occur to the driver, no? But instead this guy just takes Anna's claim and waves buh bye? Nobody goes to the truck to attempt to search? Not even the mention of it?

Ok guys it's like this, we have told everyone, the box was sealed and the snakes that were inside were in tied pillow cases, come on here, do you believe a snake crawled with it's pillow case out of a sealed box! We do not have the snake...and frankly no these days can take a 525.00 hit and not be pissed....We got screwed and no matter who thinks what that is how it is. Furthermore Bill, you being crass isnt a help, we were new and told this forum could help us through what had happened...right! you trashed me a person, not unlike anyone else you go after.

Anna, you should read some other threads, Chuck has treated as he has treated others. He is consistent with his actions here and he acted no different with you.

Take this as a lesson learned, film yourself opening boxes for evidence, take lots of pictures, and save every bit of correspondence that you can, unfortunately this industry is full of scumbags.

Absolutely. Sometimes you just have to whack them all and let God sort them out.

I think its also important that when email correspondence are going to be provided as proof that they be provided without being edited to the point they do not even resemble email correspondence anymore.

Well, you certainly didn't buy anything that you probably couldn't have eventually found locally, except for maybe the price.

And the lesson learned should be not to count your chickens before they hatch. You counted on animal you hadn't even received, were able to inspect or quarantine to begin breeding for you this season. You didnt expect people with experience to laugh at that? And note...that the seller also admittedly supplied you with underweight animals that needed to be brought up a bit in weight and health. I did not make breeding an issue or a basis as part of the complaint, YOU did. I just pointed from the photos and from the drivel you provided that I thought you were not ready for breeding this season. Probably not next season either.

Hey Bill perhaps you should remember that you too were once new to the whole thing...why would you be so unhelpful to a new person....I understand completely you dont "LIKE" how we started, but your goal is simply to sit on this site and peck at people...where do you ever in any of your"responses" give any kind of friendly yet firm advise? funny you judge and judge people get experience from learning and starting somewhere, or have you totally forgotten that?

I want you to know right up front, say what you want in reply I am closing the thread and will not be answering you so here's your BIG chance to thrash us some more buddy...By the way who are to tell others what the "lesson" should be? I damned well know if you got screwed for money and or snake this would have been a WHOLE different thread...doesn't take a smart ass to know that

But yet you were all set and ready to breed this season - without any permanent enclosure, an animal you did not have in your possession, could not inspect and had not even considered quarantining. LOL. It sure worked.

If I were a betting man I'd place my wager on the snake never being shipped out. There really hasn't been a case like this in as long as I can remember since Bill "Box Hole Boa" Leverton pulled a similar stunt and was nabbed. Its just not a very common thing to receive a package so square and so clean as to indicate no tampering whatsoever and it be missing the most valuable content inside. My bets on Blaze. If I'm correct then his name is going to be very appropriate when he is burning in hell.
