    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My final Words on this Matter.

No there was never any paper work other than the original verbal agreement. The gecko I showed him was nothing unusual or spectacular. It was a super hypo tangerine and an example of what I was willing to trade. He made the original website which I didn't care for. He then changed only two of the numerous items I requested to be changed. After some whinning and no work I even explained to him I was open to trading him even more than just the one gecko if he could "TWEAK THE SITE TO MY LIKING". He failed to continue working on it and never even contacted me after that. I am 31 years old and am a career Firefighter in Texas and have a wife and two kids. I have bred and sold hundreds of leopard geckos and never had one unsatisified customer. NOT ONE! I have always strived to be honest and fair. I only hope that people will not judge me adversely from this unfortunate incident with a teenage wanabee website designer!

Change the Website

I know next to nothing about webdesign, so pardon my ignorance. But if Leo Land is not going to get paid for the work that they did do, then Blazin Reptiles should not be allowed to use and keep what design work that was done.

Is there any way to put the website back to the old design and just forget the whole thing?

You said I only changed 2 things... Just this 1 log points out I changed 5 things, and the color/flames YOU even said were "looking good".

Why mention the trio if you never agreed to keep one for me? And as you can see, I was still in the middle of making the site. Here's another log made before the one above when I told him to hold the gecko for me, he agreed. "I never denied selling the gecko in the picture I originaly showed you." Please explain to everyone how I was whinning. If you call agreeing to do what ever you wanted to be done, the same time you ask of it, then uploading the progress and showing you whinning, then I guess I'm a whiner. Shame on me for doing what I was told as fast and as well as I could. I only hope people wont believe the lies of this wannabee firefighter!
 
Well Blazin, if all Jeff says is true then it sure puts things under a different light. Is what he has posted accurate? Did you say what it appears you did? If so I think you may owe him a really nice gecko and he needs to finish the site to your specifics.

In fact, maybe the two of you should just quit all the nonsense, agree that things did not go as well as either of you would have liked, print up a contract of what is to be done and by when, provide pictures of the minimum quality and look the gecko you will provide will look like when you get more, and then just finish the deal.

If you guys can work it out no one really loses.

There was no contract and Jeff, it looks like you were talking about 2 geckos not just one, did Chad sell both of them?

Just because Chad liked some of the changes, doesn't mean he liked them all and doesn't mean he approved the site overall.

Again, the client/customer isn't happy, they don't pay. You don't get paid, they don't get the changes.

In the future, don't do work upfront. Have a contract with a set price and get 20-50% down to start work. It is very simple.

You still have no claim here.

Of course what I said is true and un edited. I log every Private Message and channel chat I'm in on IRC, just incase. Find someone else who was logging that day and have them paste what was said. No wilomn, I'm not a liar. Anyway, I've written this off as a learning experience and don't think I will do any more with him, his company or his site. He's called me too many names and lied too many times for me to want to go through with the deal any more. I'm just glad everyone can see the truth of the situation for what it is, a man lying and calling names as much as he can to save himself. More replies are welcome, but I think I may be done arguing my point, since all can now see it clearly.
 
Jeff you're fairly new here so I can understand how you misunderstood what I was saying. If I actually thought you were a liar I would have said so. Since I don't know you and I do know that posts can be edited I phrased my posts the way I did because I am not 100% positive that you did not do that. There has been more than one scumbag that came here and tried to sway the opinion of this forum with lies. I'm just skeptical. Personally I am leaning your way. Mostly.

As you can see in the logs, I said "or" not "and". I was talking 1 gecko, everyone knew it. But W.Wedeking, do you not see how I was in the middle of making the site to how he liked it when he sold the gecko? I wasn't making this site for months you know, this was on like the 3rd day. But yes, as I said, this has been written off as a learning experience and next time I'll make sure not to work for animals, as it seems too unreliable. I didn't post this to get the gecko for the work I've done, I started this thread to show everyone what happened and I believe Blazin's character shinned through all by itself.

By the conversation that jeff posted, it sounds like Chad was happy with the site. If there was miscommunication here, I think it was on Chad's part. If you did not like the site, as you claim here, why did you tell him you did? Did you change your mind on getting a new web site? Pay him, he earned it. I wouldn't make negative comments about Jeff's business ethics when your's don't seem to be so well either. I certainly won't be adding any of your geckos to my collection.

Never once have you admitted to not contacting me. I repeated several changes that needed to be made to the site and never saw any changes. I don't know what else to do. THIS IS ACTUALLY TO ME A FORM OF BLACKMAIL! You have slandered my good name by calling me a "BAD GUY" even though I never got the product I had entered into the trade for, or got any input to its design! All out of context, Some even looks fabricated!

First of all you never onced changed things right then and there and uploaded them immediately for me to see. Secondly there are no dates on these posts and even if you had them that can be fabricated.(As it seems some of the posts are) Also I sold the gecko after realizing that the site was going to take quite some time. As I stated before I didn't have my merchandise, but I did have a interested buyer for the animal. As for the whinning yes I am familiar with it I have children. It started back when you were "working so hard on my site". You made comments that it was hard to go back and move things around and change colors etc,etc. Then there is this whole post! REMINDS ME OF MY KIDS(7&9 years old) who sometimes don't complete their chores yet still want their allowance! Thats why I am at a loss. You see with my own kids I can discipline them and teach them and the whinning stops. With you on the other hand, like I said in the my last post I guess I will have to pay in order to hear the WHINNING(borderline blackmailing comments to stop!) Maybe then this endless LIBEL will stop and I can have some peace. The Court of Public Opinion can be a powerful thing but so can the endless nagging or whinning of a child!
 
This needs to end.

Both parties need to decide what they wish to see accomplished and then go resolve it.

hey by the way, did any of you guys check out leo-lands own webpage ?? if he is such an amature or whatever blazn has been calling him . leo-land if you made your own home page then you are defently a pro. it looks better then alot of sites i have seen. if i ever need a webpage i know who to call.
