    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Qhen I walked in my house after work, I could smell bleach. The windows were open to air out the house, but the smell was still lingering. Apparently, my grandfather (I live with my grandparents) decided to clean him bedroom carpet with bleach today. Why? I have no idea. All I know is I walked in and smelled it. Since no one decided to do anything with my blue tongue skink, who's tank is in the living room, I'm worried about the fumes bothering him. I've checked on him since I've been home, and he seems fine. Does anyone know if the fumes would pose a risk? Should I just keep an eye on him? The bedroom the bleach was in is several rooms away, but if I could smell it in the living room, I was worried because I didn't know if it could make him sick. I know it can give me a headache and make me feel sick, but wasn't sure what, if anything, it could do to an animal. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

I don't know for sure, but I would think you would have seen something by now. I know in people, respiratory symptoms are the most severe in an exposure. Just keep an eye on it and take it to the vet if you are still concerned or if you see any complications.

Thanks. He still seems fine, and I think it would have been obvious by now as well. I was hoping this wouldn't seem like a dumb question, but I freaked when I got home and could smell it and realized no one moved him into my room or something. I know that would have been a pain, but I had no idea anyone was going to be doing this or I would have moved him myself before I left that morning.
