We have this very well established Cyclops Blue Tail Monitor. It’s a male and he’s not tame but he’s also not extremely aggressive. It shows almost the pastel/subdued coloration we see in some Jayapura locales but much more subdued. It does sport the pastel/pale tail coloration. This guy has been with us for a while as he was imported in slightly bad shape. After several months of proper diet and hydration, he’s now ready for a new home. Pics are the exact specimen with and without flash.
