Cerebral Nomad
It wasn’t a home run that caused a commotion on a North Philadelphia ball field Saturday, but rather an uninvited reptile.
Philadelphia police were called to the baseball field at 33rd and Diamond Streets where a 5-foot boa constrictor had been found.
Police cornered the reptile until members of the Philadelphia animal control agency arrived to remove it.
Authorities are still unsure where the snake came from.
