In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I found three articles on this story. One reported it was a python, one said an anaconda, and in one it was a boa constrictor. Fortunately this one did include a picture, and it is indeed a boa.

(CBS) SANTA ANA, Calif. Firefighters who put out a blaze in a Santa Ana recording studio got a slithery surprise Tuesday.

A 6-foot boa constrictor believed to belong to the studio’s owner, Jonathan Kent, was found when crews returned to the scene Tuesday. Kent is accused of setting fire to the business, 3319 W. Warner Ave. Friday night and has been in jail since his arrest on suspicion of arson.

“We found the snake alive and well,” Santa Ana Fire Department Ben Gonzales said.

The female boa constrictor was nicknamed “Pyro” by firefighters. The snake is 3 inches in diameter and weighs 40-50 pounds. Some of the of the boa's skin appeared to be coming off, but its not clear whether its because of fire-related injuries or the snake’s normal skin-shedding process, Gonzales said.

The snake was apparently kept in a glass terrarium that was in an area particularly damaged by the flames. “Pyro” will be taken to the Orange County Animal Care facility and could eventually be put up for adoption, Gonzales said.

Kent was charged with one count of arson of a structure and was rescheduled to be arraigned April 28, so he can hire a private attorney, a court clerk said.

Kent was seen leaving the building as the fire was breaking out and was held by witnesses until authorities arrived, Gonzales said.

The fire was fed by an accelerant, he said.

WHOA!!!!!!!! That is a heavy snake!!!!!!!! The owner must have been feeding it fruitcake filled rats.

My 6.5 foot boa does not even come close to weighing that much, he is maybe tipping the scales at 10 pounds. My 9 foot boa, she is around 50 pounds. Journalists, who needs facts? Hmm...
