So I am a sucker for animals in need of a rescue and we brought this big guy (or gal) home tonight. It's over 6 feet long and has a very nice rainbow sheen in the right light. He's docile and so nice to hold! Now sitting here next to my cornsnake's viv, though, she looks like a worm in comparison.
The people who had him thought he was a burmese python. Well clearly I am not a snake expert, because I didn't actually know WHAT this guy is, but I know he's not a burmese python. I didn't argue and just took him away. I thought he looks like a boa, but I know nothing about boa species or morphs. Is he just a regular normal boa constrictor? Do they have a rainbow sheen to them?
