    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

my boa took a dump sometime last night and when i woke up this morn poor thing was covered from head to toe in it...i mean bad...i immediately took her to the tub and cleaned her up...she is now crawling around wierd, like she almost has lost control of her movements and is all contorted....can she be poisoned with her own feces?....dont look good...please someone reply...

I doubt she could be poinsoned, especially if it was only over nite. Just keep an eye on her andif she looks like shes getting sick take her to a vet

She couldn't be poisoned from her own fecal matter (unless she ate it), if there is something in it that was toxic the problem would be there whether she crawled through it or not. Did you use any chemicals when cleaning her up?

I 2nd the vet if she appears to be having issues, better safe then sorry.

thanks for the help..she hasnt moved much since...very strange...im givving her xtra tlc for a few days to see if she acts better then off 2 the vet if she dont...thanks again

If she just dropped a duece she may just be relaxing waiting for her next meal. Inactivness could be due to the seasonal change as well. But if u feel she is ill then by all means take her to the vet, if u do might as well run a fecal smear and make sure she doesnt have parisites either. But I wouldnt jump the gun based on her being inactive alone.

Describe what you mean by 'contorted'. To be honest, that's the only part of your statement that would concern me.

What do you clean her cage with? What did you clean her off with? What are her temps. How often do you change the water? What has she been eating? Do you use any sort of mite control? If so, what are you using?

I agree with crotalusadamanteus, sounds like your cage cleaner could have been irritating her.

If you aren't using an "animal safe/friendly" cleaner make sure to thoroughly clean it again with water and maybe even a little dawn dish detergent. Household cleaners like lysol can be irritating to reptiles.

Doesn't sound like he was using provent-a-mite, or something like that because that causes permanent neurological issues, right?

Not sure on the provent issue, but the absolute best, cheapest and safeest cage cleaner I ever used was 91% rubbing alcohol, the big bottles are @ 1.22 at wally world. Just spray it in the tank, hold ur breath, and wipe it out. give it a couple of minnutes to evaporate and air out, then put ur reptile away. Plus if u get bored u could always hold lighter and spray it on ur friends, that sure makes for an entertaining evening!
