In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey everyone,
I hope I put this in the right place. I've been searching reviews on Boamasters racks but have found a few that are a couple of years old. Anyone has any recent rack system purchases from them, their prices seem cheaper than others but how is the quality?
Thank you in advance.

We traded some of our Pandora's for them last year and couldn't be happier. We have one of the melamine74 qt boa box racks that is 9 or 10 high. It is VERY sturdy, I ahve actually climbed up the side of the shelves (which I don't recommend unless your trying to get your cat down like I was) but it didn't even move! Definetly need at least 3 large people to move it though. We had one of the 41 qt PVC on wheels as well, but had no room for it and sold it, but it was a dream! Light weight and on wheels and sturdy!
We recently picked up an older model 28 qt that was from him as well and even though it is older, it still looks new and is sturdy for sure.
Depending on how much moving around of your reptile room you do, I would say go with the PVC if you reorganize a lot, since they are lighter and go the extra for the wheels. If not, the melamine will last you a long time and be VERY tough, not like other melamine that breaks.

Almost all of my racks were purchased from him. They are heavy, but good quality! I highly recommend installing casters.

I love them and haven't found anything better for the price. I had one that was damaged during shipping and he wasted no time in replacing it without question once I sent in photos. He is a great guy and I think i have 5 racks now from him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his stuff at all.

Ive got 12 of his new pvc racks and they work great. Only thing Ive had problems with is the last few shelves at the bottom do not heat up like the rest of the shelves. So I just dont use the bottom few shelves. All my racks are the 10 high shelves.

I have the same problem, and he tells me when he builds them for himself, he usually doesn't even put on the bottom shelves, I think 27" from the ground, but recomends if you need them, to ad another strip of heat tape to the shelf itself, or insulate the bottom shelf!

Thanks all for sharing your personal experience, it is definitely a rack I'll consider buying. I've seen them at Hamburg show but never once did it cross my mind to take a look at them. I might just give him a call. Thanks again everyone.
