As many of you know I have been exceedingly busy for some time now. The cage business is going gang busters and I needed help. Getting in touch with me had been difficult at best and impossible at worst. Well a week or so ago I recieved a call from a friend of mine named Donnie Smith. Now most of you don't know who Donnie is but many do know who "Morti" who's home away from home is redtailboa.net . Morti volunteered his services to try to lighten my work load a bit. After lengthy negotiations, consultations and a very short arm wrestling match with Morti's manager I won and so did all of you! I am really looking forward to working with Morti as the National Sales Manager here at "Boaphile Plastics"! In the future when you call Boaphile Plastics, you will no longer get the machine… instead you will get a real live human on the other end of the line or you will get his friendly and informative voicemail. The ideal time to call Morti is between 8 PM and 12 Midnight, Eastern time Monday-Friday.

I can hear your questions even now as you are forming them in your head. If you aren't already familiar with Morti. The question is "Who is this Mystery Manager?" Morti, his real name as I mentioned earlier is Donnie. He answers to either name but definitely not to Don or Donald. Morti is the Administrator, Moderator, and all around Slave at redtailboa.net as well as being an active member at The Boa Forum , The Board of Inquiry , and the kingsnake.com Boa Forums.  For the past week or so Morti has been learning all things "Boaphile Plastic" becoming familiar with the products available as well as some of the most frequently asked questions.

This frees up my time to build more cages and work on new projects like those arboreal cages that everyone has been shouting at me to hurry up with. SAHWEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if you have any cage questions or if you want to order a few, call Donnie or Morti or drop him an e-mail. All inquiries will be answered within 24 hours.

In addition I have hired an experienced plastics craftsman to assist me in building "Boaphile Plastics"! Wow! Actually, a lot more experience than even me. He begins training tomorrow morning. In the short term all of us will be very busy building the many cages and racks that have already been ordered. In a few weeks you will begin to see me advertising! Oh yea! We are expanding our business and plan on building lots more product to keep up with the growing demand. I have not been able to show everything I can and have built just because I have not been able to keep up with the orders as it is. A special thanks to those who had offered support as well to those who offered constructive criticism to me in a previous Boaphile Plastics thread. Sorry if you happen to be one of those folks who had found it impossible to reach me earlier. This is changing quickly and I look forward to serving you better. Thanks for your patience!

Boaphile cages,a thing of beauty

I just recieved 6 Boaphile cages and I can't say enough good things about them.They look great,the new hardware is awesome and they're a breeze to clean.The staff was also very nice and professional to deal with,shipment was not terribly bad and well worth any wait,in my opinion.My snakes seem to be quite content in them and that's the bottom line for me.I feel pretty spoiled now and can't even imagine using anything but Boaphile cages from now on.On top of all that they look fabulous,I have them in my living room and get lots of compliments on them.Even friends who do not care for reptiles,have at least admired the cages....LOL!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I'm not sure exactly why you are providing contact numbers and asking people to email you. I've sent boaphile 3 emails and a left a voicemail without a single correspondance. Yes, I understand that you're busy trying to find a sales manager, but plainly ignoring "3 customer emails and a voicemail" is a horrific business practice.

I hope your new sales team will do a better job at actually emailing or corresponding with potential customers. As of now you proved to me that your business model is totally unprofessional and I've decided to seek alternative caging means.

To all who have had a postive experience with boaphile that's great, but I'm just simply stating my experience with them.

Boaphile Cages

I guess Vake that you did not read Jeffs whole statement. First he apoliges to everyone who has tried to get in contact with him and he could not get back to them. Second he went out a found away to improve his customer service by hiring Morti. Other companies would not apologize for this or try to find someone to help. They figure if you do not buy from them some one else will. Jeff is not that way he want everyones business and he wants them to be happy.
At the most you probally go to work and take care of a few animals. And you probally feel like there is no time for anything else.
Jeff has one of the largest collection of boas in the world. He has a family life and trying to make his caging business as smoothg running and successful as possible. He is not a man with alot of money who hires everyone to do his work for him while he spends weeks on the beach. He is out there designing ,building and saleing his cages. It is his blood,sweat and tears that is makiing this business sucessful.
So i wouild reconsider before going to another place to get cages. He will be the one there for you in the long run.

I pikced up 10 421 d's at the tinley show last week. Only took Jeff and the crew two weeks from getting my loot to me getting the cages. Everything went very smoothly and I love my new cages.

I'm probably going to get some flack for this, but i feel it should be said: (and yes, i realize this thread is a year old)

This thread does not belong on the BOI. It does not matter that Jeff Ronne and Donnie Smith are great people, we all know they are and that Boaphile products are equally wonderful. The BOI is not for press releases.


Especially seeing that the information contained within is dated, perhaps this thread should just go away and the timely posts be moved to another existing thread?
