• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Boaphile VS Boa Master xpvc stack?

Hey guys, just a couple quick questions about caging.

Some of my boas have outgrown their current enclosures, and I've been looking around for caging options. We've decided on the XPVC stackable cages, and there is something of a price difference between Boa Master and Boaphile. Just hoping to see if anyone out there had bad experiences with one or the other as far as durability or longevity, heat tolerance, or other issues that might be pertinent.

Also noticed that there's an economy version of the enclosure from Boa Master that is 1/4" thick on top and bottom, as opposed to the usual 1/2" thickness, and wondered if that would be sturdy enough to house adult boas in a stack.

Well, I mostly just found positive reviews for both companies. Probably means they're both pretty decent. Just ordered 5 cages and a pedestal from Boaphile. From what I've seen so far, I imagine they'll serve admirably. :)
 
Haven't dealt with boamaster but heard good things about them. I have eight boaphile cages and am very happy. Turnaround takes awhile but I'm more concerned with the long term and usually buy cages well in advance of the snakes. One of my cages is about 5-6 years old, the rest are new within the past year or two, all holding up great.
