    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Boapile back heated rack stopped working. how to get access to heat tape

I have an older boaphile pvc rack that is back heated.
it stopped heating suddently.
My question does anyone have advice on what to use to separate/get access to the heat tape?
i'm pretty sure it got soldered.
the heat tape and cable is pinned in between two sheets of pvc in the back.
Pic attached.
Tried using a small chisel but it just broke the pvc.

hoping to fix otherwise my only option is to cut slights in each row and convert it to belly heat.
