In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Bob Clark

So Bob has agreed to send me a snake next week and when I asked for a Haydn date he gave me 06/15. I asked again if that's too young and no response yet? I'll wait for email

You need to be patient. I imagine Bob has a great deal of responsibilities right now, so give him a while to respond.

lucille why do you put your 2 cents in every boi thread? just curious?

-Blake Wilson

Lucille has a great reputation here and has helped expose a lot of bad guys. Her questions are concise and get straight to the heart of the matter. I feel her opinion is worth a lot more than the 2 cents that you mentioned. On the other hand, the bright red dot beneath your name speaks volumes about what the majority think about your posts.

While true I wouldn't want to purchase a hatchling that hadn't had a few meals either.

1000% agreed!

While I would not be over worried about getting a burm to eat, from the timeline of hatching to selling it could have had 1 rodent meal , possibly 2 if very lucky.

But ANY freshly shipped snake, especially new hatchlings need a good few days to settle in and destress before attempting to feed them.

Also if it has had 1 or 2 meals it is entirely possible it was getting ready to head into its first shed cycle which is not always obvious especially with an albino and that would certainly prevent it from wanting to eat as well

I guess I will be done with this. Through email Bob is now telling me he wants the burm back asap upon getting another snake that may eat for him..Weird as he stated in post 19 and 20 that I could keep the snake and get another as long as I paid freight. Strange how he fell back on that

Is the non-feeding male albino burm from Bob Clark the same one that you posted for sale here on 6/9 because your significant other wouldn't let you keep it?

post 20

now he wants the snake back. I will try and force feed this week but It looks like he is not longer sticking to his word

Yes not very good to make a statement in public and then renege on it.
Unless you said something in your emails to upset the apple cart.
However what have you tried so far to get it to eat?
Live?
Brained?

Yea kind of frustrating. I'm going to have a buddy who has had snakes much longer than I have come over and help force feed tomorrow. I didn't upset him at all and finally decided on a platinum which he stated 75 more plus shipping and the burm back. That's where I got confused

We used to have dogs and she freaked out that eventually they would get too big and eat them. One of my kids is allergic to
The dogs saliva and instead of meds she decided to get rid of them and now has no issue with me getting snakes...she is maxing memit at two big snakes. I have tried to delete the burm for sale but I don't know how. I got a few people interested and so it's eating I will selll it. I have bobs that is not eating. Sorry for the confusion

No worries. Pet allergies stink, I'd go nuts if I couldn't have dogs, cats, or horses.

I really cannot recommend force feeding your snake, nothing good usually comes of that practice in the long run
What have you tried so far?
rats, mice, chicks, quail?
Live, thumped, brained?
Left in tank overnight, in small tub in total silence and darkness, high annoyance method with tongs in their face( sounds cruel but I have a really stubborn albino carpet who even after 2 years I can only get to eat with this method!)?

Plenty of options for even the most stubborn snake tbh.

Force feeding usually leads to an overstressed animal and can lead to the death of the animal, especially if done incorrectly.

There are many better options.
Have you tried scenting? Tuna fish oil, raw egg yolk, sardine?

You have not answered any questions posted about what you have tried.
