Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Bob Clark

Get a small live mouse. Most hatchling and neonate snakes are started on mice as their movement is better. Once it is eating regularly, then you can switch it to rats.
 
Update: So i paid Bob an extra 125 for shipping on the snake he said I could keep as well as the burm. The burm FINALLY ate last night..a fresh killed small rat pup so thats great. Bob is stating he never said i could keep both and to send the burm back. With him eating I emailed him and let him know what he stated (he can check here) and with the snake eating I will keep him and he can refund the money and I will quit emailing him about all this. He is probably tired of hearing from me but he has been helpful in this process as well. Now I wait for a refund I guess.

If he did say he never agreed to that, then that's awfully stupid. It's written right in this thread...

I sent him that exact screen shot. He replied it was a mistake and meant to replace it. I asked for a refund so the least he could do is refund the money for the other snake I won't be getting

Maybe it was a mistake on his part that he agreed to this, but he had a choice, he could go ahead and honor his own written words or make his customer pay for his mistake.
 
Great news on eating
Burms once they start are usually pretty voracious little beggars so I think you will now have no problems with feeding

Don't think we need proof, there's enough Bob Clark WTF! stories through the years to write a book! He's been around forever, it seems like he should be 100 yrs old! Where does he get the energy? I bet that was a hell of an experience at the texas show, WTF assaulting the animals? Hope none were hurt, what a bat shit crazy Bob Clark ball of fun that had to be! It's like he can be the Donald Trump of the reptile world at times, I don't want to be a bitch but, Bob get a grip, get some long overdue therapy already!

See see what I mean about him being the Donald Trump of the reptile world? I'm not the first one to say that. I mean what's the deal with piercings, fat, hygiene and his job have to do with anything? WTF? It wouldn't be funny to me if I was you, but i had to laugh, i read this post and was like jeeezus, how bizarre. He sure knows how to get peoples attention, one thing Bob Clark isn't is boring! Wow
 
its been 3 hours since I've asked for a refund or at least to verify one and no response. Im sure he's busy but its papal..doesnt take very long for either a quick yes I will or just refund it..
 
He said in plain writing he would let you keep the snake.....if thats not what he meant, its his fault. Proof-reading doesn't exist any more I guess? That snake is yours, you paid for shipping on it ($125 shipping also? who brought it to you, a gold plated limousine?).
 
He may have been at home this morning and out and about right now. I'm sure if he didn't ship you'll get refunded.
 
He can't ship. Too damn hot here. 107-111 all week. Yea I haven't emailed since 8 am so I will wait a day or so I guess

One sometimes can belt out dozens of emails. One sometimes cannot. If someone started to get upset with me over a three-hour email gap, well, I am not sure that person could be pleased with any amount of reasonable effort on my part.

I thought from Bob's response to Lucille's question that he would have you pay shipping, you would receive a second snake because the first one seemed problematic by your perception, and then you would keep both snakes. Really, that is how things are typed out in terms of sequence. Something to keep in mind now is that the snake has eaten and that was the core of the original concern. Yes? It would be cool if he sent you the second snake now, but the chief complaint that was the reason for that offer has also evaporated. If you would be okay simply with the refund, I would say to wait for that refund so he can have time to issue it. 24 hours would, to me, be reasonable. Faster would be better, but I do not know his schedule. If he did still send the second snake instead of refunding the recent payment, I think that would be pretty nice for you.

I think that is a reasonable, fair analysis.
But, I'm curious- Dan, did Bob ask you to return the snake you have before or after it had finally eaten?
 
He asked for it before. And I pointed him to this website and that's when he said it wasn't his mistake he meant something different. He actually asked me to return the snake the minute I paid the 125.oo (difference and shipping) (female platinum retic). Sorry if I feel I'm rushing. I will just sit back and wait for him to respond and won't email him unless it's been several days.
