• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Inquiry Bob Clark

I think a day is fine.

By his own words earlier, he would be sending the second animal regardless until there was the change of mind later on. Since you seem okay with having the recent $125 refunded and considering it all square, I would say to wait for that refund. I think even a busy person could get it done in about a day.

to be honest I'm bummed about him going back on his deal as id love to have the platinum but I don't think he will budge and its not worth further hassle. I will pick up a platinum from someone else another time

I'm disappointed the verbal deal of the additional snake, offered and confirmed in response to a direct clarification question, is not being honored. It will make me more careful wholeheartedly endorsing a known entity before the entire transaction is complete. BC was under no obligation to offer such a deal, and I think all of us thought it was overly generous... perhaps it was a mistake, I think it's reasonable that most of us would agree it was a profit/loss mistake on his part to offer it. But, it was proffered, and confirmed when asked... I am uneasy with it being discarded not that the original snake is eating.

I agree. I even paid an additional 125 for shipping for a lavender and he backed out on the deal..whats done is done.

I am uneasy with it being discarded
I agree. It makes you wonder if this seller won't honor his deals with this buyer, whether he will honor his deals with other buyers.
According to the buyer he backed out of the deal before the snake had eaten.

He asked me to pay the difference of the two and not just shipping. Sadly I would have just bought it had I had the cash

I recognize that it sucks that he did not follow through on that part of things, but I would say to find some comfort that your snake is now eating, you were refunded for the other money sent, and you can move forward with your original plans for it. I would not ruminate too much on the other lost opportunity at this point, as it will only keep stirring negative feelings (within you). I am glad your snake ate, by the way. Nice to have cleared that hurdle. Has it been doing okay since then? I hope so.
