    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Back in May Bob Ellis posted 33) 6ft Neodeshas and 11 Racks for sale......after showing interest he made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I purchased the cages the same day by overnight payment and arranged delivery. When the cages arrived there were only 30 cages and 10 racks........his excuse being his friend had came and got the cages to borrow without his knowledge but he would refund my money for the missing items if need be. Figuring he needed the money and I needed the cages I made plans to get with him at a later date and pick them up.

Right after the deal Bob moved and I never heard from him on a new address or new phone number, all of my emails to him were read and not replied to. After many months, many emails and many efforts to contact him through other people all I've accomplished is to get shorted on an order by a man I had spoke with numerous times over the years and saw him as a reputable guy.

Granted I was given a good deal on the cages-half of which need refinished from discoloring and cutouts for power cords and such. It's the principle of not getting what I paid for and not even getting a reply after at LEAST a dozen polite inquiries as to when and where we could meet up.

Should anyone have an address or phone number on him I would appreciate getting it, and until he makes this deal right with me I can only assume he's one to get the money and run.
 
Doesn't Surprise me

I too had a dealing of the same with Bob. I got in contact with Bob after I was told to by Tim Frazier. Tim is one of the most stand up guys and I felt if he had a transaction with Tim and Tim was happy I would take Tims word and go with it. I picked up some 100% het Albino Ball Pythons from him for a trade of adult and Gravid Boas. Granted the First deal went smooth as silk and I kept in contact with him for I enjoyed speaking with him and I liked the service I got. Then I was contacted by him and he said he had some more hets he wanted to move for he was getting out of Balls 100% and wanted to get all boas. I set the deal up and we shipped on different days. He shipped to me first but he did not include the paperwork. So I asked him and he told me he trusted me but he felt more comfortable sending the balls first and when he recieved the boas he would ship the papers to me ASAP! Well it sounded fine to me especially since I had no problems before with him. I sent the Boas to him and they arrived Alive and well, and I was told the papers were sent out. After 7 days of no papers I called him and he told me he forgot and when he said he sent them he meant to so he figured why not just say they were shipped. Well he said they were in the enevelope every day for 6 months. Finally I got real upset and I called like 30 times, and he said he still had to find them.. Well which was it. you had yet to find them or you didn't have them or you haven't shipped them? Well needless to say once a week I would get calls from him saying he just has to take it to the mail box that it was ready to be shipped but he kept forgetting. Ya Bob right forgetting huh. How hard is it to just put it in your mail box and the mailman would just take it from there? Next I got the run around of him having surgery(Probably to get the BS removed from his A$$). Then his number was disconnected. But oddly enough he did call me after leaving numerous e-mail messages. Saying he moved. Well whatever dude. You should have shipped them when you said you would you never did almost 8 months later I still have no papers and haven't heard from you in 3 months. The last call I did get from him he asked me what he could do because someone sold him hets that didn't prove out but he wasn't supplied with papers. Kinda sounded like he was checking to see if I knew how I could bust him? Bottom line he is hiding for whatever reason. He did say he was getting 100% out of reptiles and if that is so he probably doesn't care. But as we all know, you can leave reptiles but you'll come back. everyone always does, but you know what Wil and I will be waiting for when you come back, It's your name!

i had already posted a warning about bob ellis he is one shady charecter i had sold him a bunch of normal ball pythons and he sent me a check that bounced let me tell you it took 6 months to get my money out of him and after i received the money i posted a buyer beware on him and it turned out he was selling the same balls i had sold him as nothing more than normals for het albinos

Sorry to hear that Bob Ellis screwed anyone.(especially Vic).That is the reason I hate even telling anyone that a deal went ok for me....it can backfire for the next person.With the exception of just a handful of people that I know personally,I don't offer my name as a reference,but I will tell someone if a deal worked out if asked.

I dealt with Bob on one or two occasions with in the last 5 years.(never met him in my life).I got a pair of adult Rings and they have been great breeders.That may or may not have been our only deal.The only remotely negative experience was that he wanted me to hold back 35 of my baby Boas for him(which I did) and that was the last I heard from him after holding them for 6 weeks.In all honesty,that seems to be just about the norm rather than the exception in this business,so I wasn't really upset.

I don't visit the BOI very often,as it is so depressing.There are people on here with glowing reviews that tried to take me over the past few years,but apparently have repented and changed their ways,so that is a good thing.There are fewer crooks in the Mafia than in the reptile industry.

I don't know what to say. I think that it sucks that there are people like bob in this industry but I am ecstatic(SP) to know there are people like YOU still in this industry. You, Don Hamper, plus many many more people have kept me in this hobby/industry even with all this BS. So tim beyond this little Bob Ellis BS THANK YOU for staying real! If I could wish that I could live near one person so I could study closer to so I could expand my knowlege of the herp world you would be way on the top of my list! Thanks for keeping me here! Oh and as far as the non papered hets go hell, if they don't prove out with my male albino I got from Brian Potter than hell at least I will be selling TRUE 100% hets next year :), and at least I did get females from him LOL!
