**It has been about 3 weeks now since I recently made a Paypal payment/order to Bob and two weeks to date since I received his BEAUTIFUL 2014-Blonde Super Pastel female and I am waay overdue now for my review of him so here goes!!***
LET ME START BY SAYING...
Prior to deciding on whether or not to buy from him, I have already read so many good stuff about him online (through here- faunaclassifieds) and this was when just last month(august 2014), I was not even a registered kingsnake.com user and would just browse the ball python classifieds (which most breeders/advertisers on there let you contact them directly). However, when I saw the advertisement for Bob Futo's 2014-Blonde Super Pastels (as I was in the market for a stunning and clean looking super pastel ball python) and was about to message him, the website said that only registered Kingsnake.com users can contact him. So being as determined as I am to always get what I want, BOB FUTO IS THE REASON I MADE A KINGSNAKE.COM account! YES, he is worth it!
NOW MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIM...
Just last month (August) around that specific week I was interested in one of his 2014-Blonde Super Pastel Female Ball Pythons, I had not gotten paid yet and was not going to get paid until the end of that week (that weekend.) I figured it was worth a shot inquiring with him anyway in regards to the Sire (papa snake) and Dam (mama snake) of that stunning Super Pastel Baby Girl Hatchling of his so that I would have a better idea of the snake's full potential of being the very BRIGHT & INTENSE YELLOW snake that I want to wear on my shoulders 2-3 years from now!
Indeed, he showed me natural light shots of both the parents (Blonde Super Pastel Sire X Blonde Pastel Dam) and even the MOTHER could pass for a Super Pastel, being just a 'normal' pastel if you were to compare her to some lower grade, cheap, dirty, normal pastels you can find just about anywhere. Both the parents are hot!!! I don't care if my new snake ends up being as soft yellow as the mother or intense vibrant yellow as the dad or a fusion of both parents, I am highly confident she will get brighter, and more beautiful with age!!! Being from the Blonde Pastel Lineage is a plus as I hear they tend to keep their yellow! ( i love my yellow snakes!!) OKAY NOW LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS...so I wasn't going to be able to pay Bob nor make a deposit on his snake until the weekend (that SATURDAY being the earliest when my check clears in the bank.) Bob said " I will hold this female for you. Just contact me by the weekend to confirm you want her! All the best! ~ Bob" Let me tell you this...Bob Futo is very kind! I was like one of those poor kids outside a toy shop constantly looking inside at all the toys I'll never have TO that kid in A Christmas Story who finally got what he want, lol
SEE, HERE IS THE THING ABOUT BOB...
He isn't all about the money. He knew how much I wanted that snake and trusted I would be able to pay him on that Saturday so he HELD her for me without any pressure at all to leave a deposit or buy her instantly or the next person gets her! Nope, this man is PASSIONATE about those that purchase from him and prospective clients as well as his animals and let me tell you....He has some TOP NOTCH, HIGH QUALITY animals including my own snake from him ;p !
THE REST OF THE STORY...
So comes friday and I am able to early confirm that I still want his snake and we communicated throughout most of the weekend regarding payment and shipping arrangements. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION before ordering, after making payment & evening before she were to be shipped (as someone else here said--he keeps you posted)!! Even though I made payment that weekend, he held her back at his facility for an additional week to have a couple more meals (fine by me- whatever is best for the snake!). I got her the week after she ate a few more times and she came to me alive, healthy, alert, and inquisitive! She was the exact snake in his ad picture and looked even better in person!
Bob knows his stuff! He knows his animals and their lineages and has nothing to hide! He answers all questions! As a customer of his, he really makes you feel valued and lets you know whats going on, really fast with email replies and calling back!
If I see something I like next year, I will definitely buy from him again!!!
PS- To any of the skeptics, I specifically made this user account on FaunaClassifieds so that I can tell everyone JUST HOW OF A GOOD GUY BOB IS!!! :spinner:
