Bad Guy Bob Hayes aka urbancowboy1 (BAD GUY)

I recently purchached 3 adult veild chameleons for a good price of $200.00 shipped! Only one problem! Bob Hayes aka urbancowboy1 will not ship them to me! He demanded I pay for them that day but now will not ship them nore return my money or even return my messages! Just a heads up, Do not buy from urbancowboy1 !

Did he give a reason for a shipping delay?

The last response I had from him was on the 5th. He claimes that he was sick and could not ship them. It was nice here and I really wanted them to be shipped last week. Now its 30 deg and not sure if he even knows how to correctlly ship them. He will not respond to me demanding my money back!

Did you even alert this guy to this thread? Seems like he paid you back quick enough. It was barely even a week ago that he had had his last contact with you saying he was sick and could not ship. Hardly enough time in between for a BOI thread....

Id like to know his side of this story, as it seems he followed through and did the right thing. Hardly cause for a BAD GUY thread? I could be wrong... But i cant help be skeptical that maybe, just maybe, you jumped the gun a bit here.

I agree Alicia, he jumped the gun on this one. Something just didn't sit right with his original post. He was ready to label this guy a "bad guy" without waiting a reasonable amount of time for this guy to respond to him.

Wow this individual really has a lot of compassion for his fellow man. I received his payment and had to wait for it to clear. By the time it cleared I had been admitted into the hospital with infectious endocarditis. I have proof of this if needed. I checked my e-mail via my cell phone while laying in a hospital bed and this guy was all upset that I hadn't sent the chameleons. Only a few days had gone by since his payment cleared. I assured him that I would send them out first thing on Monday. He said that he was impatient and wanted his money back. I said no problem and had my wife refund his money since I was still in the Hospital. I was very happy to refund his money and would never sell any of my animals to an individual which such a lack of human decency!

One other thing I was not aware of this thread until today 11/13/08. My wife may have logged on when I was in the Hospital. But this is the first time I was aware of this.

Looks like this thread might serve to sellers as a "do not sell to" thread.
If this went down the way Urbancowboy says, looks like the buyer really jumped the gun and posted a bad guy thread too fast. Now it is here forever and some people may not read it through before realizing it was done in haste
