    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would have thought he'd be over me by now and move on to other unsuspecting victims. People beware ...Sloan is on the lose again ... at least until he gets caught again .... :rofl:

Gotta agree that the alias is a chuckle lol. That and the fact that he magically got 30 years younger

I had him "friended" on FB for a while, but the language and attitude was not somebody I wanted to listen to and I thought it might be him... I just had a habit of accepting anybody that wanted to connect there.

Anyway, some time back I unfriended and blocked this "strike russell" when I had seen enough profanity and name calling of other people.

He really needs to just accept the fact that the herping community does not want anything to do with him and go away instead of using aliases to keep sneaking back in.
 
I have reported him on numerous occasions to facebook and they have done absolutely nothing about it. He also created another alias that plainly states his intention is to harass a specific person and make their life miserable, and facebook has still done nothing.

I would not expect much to be done about reporting him, he has made direct threats to me and my family even said what all he would do to my daughter that was I think 7 or 8 at the time. Nobody cares about bob sloan, and by putting myself in that group of people that just do not care about him I have found that things are much quieter. He simply is not worth the effort to do anything with, he is old, I understand his health is poor... one day he will simply be gone, and when that day comes, once again nobody will care.

So my vote is to let him bark all he wants to and just tune it out.. He does it for the attention, he gets off on it, so I simply do not play in his arena at all. We just need to be sure he does not slip in with an alias and rip anybody off...

And for the record, his history in the Taxidermy world is at least as bad as it is here. He seems to only be able to make a living by ripping people off from what I have seen.
 
Mybe if is health is poor he can get free medical help in jail. You should report him for those kinds of threats. Terroristic threats are taken very seriously in minnesota and if you filed a report with the St Paul PD, with those messages as evidence, they would both investigate and likely arrest the man. What you have there is enough for them to get a warrant to access his email and or messaging accounts to see that he made thjose threats and arrest him and charge him.

You a lawyer mr. ritzer or is giving free legal advice just a hobby of yours?
 
No Im not a lawyer but I have dealt with similar situations and they were handled in the manner that I described.
Telling someone they should a police report constitutes legal advice these days?

Threatening to harm someone is an arrest worthy offense here in Minnesota and Im sure alot of other places in the US and its taken pretty seriously.

He has many police reports for cyberbullying and harassment.
