    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Bob Sloan is back

It also has classifieds, a forum, and a bit of other stuff. Chances are it is everything RIPster wanted to be... only difference is RG doesnt do the shipping bit.
 
Maybe Earl Turner will chime in. He told me once that Sloan worked undercover for TPWD, that's why he get's released so quickly. Maybe Earl can confirm that.

I know several people that have called the police, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and submitted evidence against him with no results. Even when he is arrested for violations that are serious enough for jail time, he is released rather swiftly. Read between the lines!
 
I work with a guy who had someone make threats along the same, I know where your kids go to school lines, they were arrested and charged with terrorist threats, which is a federal offense, which means the F.B.I can get involved, if the police will do nothing, Try the F.B.I

I have made 3 reports here with our police department including the one from today.
I also called St. Paul, MN. and they told me they can't do anything until the police dept. here gets in touch with them.

Then maybe someone he threatens just needs to put a bullet in his head and get it over with.
 
My girlfriends dad works for the F.B.I in Sacramento, I will see if I can call in a favor. People who threaten children really make me angry.
 
Restraining order?

I spoke to my girlfriend, she will be calling her dad in the morning, but she did mention you should get a restraining order. The Police will have to take it seriously, if he violates it, the Police would be breaking the law if they did not do so.
 
Well, that's worth a shot...but you can't just walk in and say that you want a restraining order either, you have to have legitimate reason (in the eyes of the officer you are dealing with). I don't know what the exact "qualifications" are to get one, and indeed it may vary from place to place.....but I had to walk in black and blue before they would give me one, at one point in the past. Wasn't much consolation that they appeared to feel bad for not granting me one sooner at that point.

But yeah, it's worth a try, again especially when kids are involved. Once it was in place, they DID take it seriously. Again, documenting EVERYTHING is the key....make sure you have proof of what you say is going on, so there is no "he said she said" bs.

My thoughts exactly! If he made threats against my family and i took him serious, he wouldn't have to worry about getting a hotel room near where i lived as i would already be camped out right outside his bedroom window...
Funny thing is, we own a gun business, so it would be like him attacking the military... Ain't gonna happen :)
 
I could probably wallpaper the entire house and my neighbors with all the emails received from him. thank goodness I listened to the little voice inside this time. I saved all of them.

and the police didn't even want to look at one. just keep making reports with any new information I receive.


this person (sloan) is extremely obsessive when it comes to everything and or anybody, from snakes to guitars. in his own (sloan) words said that he is bipolar and takes medication for this and high blood sugar.
 
I believe several mods on this site as well as myself have received NUMEROUS threats from Mr. Sloan. MANY members here have as well. To date, I have not heard of him actually carrying out any of those threats. In some cases the persons being threatened by Mr. Sloan are very capable of taking care of themselves, and had he attempted to carry out such threats, it is entirely possible his threatening days would be over with.

He is only a flesh and blood human, not some demon. Keep the documentation at hand, arm yourself and pay attention to your surroundings, and if ANYONE presents a physical threat to you or your family, have the means and the will to end it once and for all.

If you live in an area that does not allow you to forcibly protect yourself, move to someplace that does. That is about all you can do to give yourself some peace of mind.

With all the documentation that exists about this character, no grand jury in the world would deliberate more than 30 seconds to find anyone innocent of putting someone like this down for the count. If he is really NOT a threat, no one could blame you for believing all his threats and acting accordingly. But if he really IS a threat, then you have done the world a good samaritan service while in the process of protecting yourself.
 
save all the emails..print them.
call your local PD and file a report.
There's also a website for the FBI ...report this as internet terrorism.
get the restraining order, that way the next time he even sends you an email (or calls) he violates the restraining order.

Here in Florida, his threats either on the phone or email are considered a second degree felony. Once I initiated that, he stopped emailing me.
The first email or phone call I get from him will violate the restraining order.

As far as him showing up at the PA show...I doubt it ...there's to many people looking to throw him a serious beating.

Myself and another person offered to pay his way to the Daytona event ...of course he never took us up on it.

I think a few of us should just rent a BUS and pay him a visit.
He was also banned from RG because I spent several days trying to prove to the guy who runs it what type of person CRACKHEAD bob is.
He finally banned him ...reluctantly I might add.
 
We have two types of restraining orders in Ca. the one where you walk in black and blue, I think is called an emergency restraining order which is free, the other, I dont remember what its called, but you have to pay for it, I think it costs around $100, I dont know if its the same in Minnesota, but it might be worth looking into.

Same thing here in Florida....but its worth paying for to see that jack:censored: behind bars:rolleyes:
