This is what I'm basing my statements on. Lisa already has said that no transaction was considered OR had taken place.

She is a member of reptilegeeks.com where she met Sloan. There are plenty of posts by both of these idiots to prove they were involved in a long distance love affair - if two losers can have a love affair. She posted many comments that she loved him and she wanted to be with him. Marissa Miller is also a moderator on thetegu.com under the username \"angelrose\". My take on it is that Marissa is the female counterpart to Sloan. Maybe they will take each other out or ride off into the sunset together and leave us all alone. LOL

She did have a relationship with Sloan. They did tell everyone on RG and tegu they were in love and together. Sloan did send her snakes. She has said so and offered to pay him for them in a post he put on there today. It is from her e-mail. Marissa does have sexually explicit - more so that sloan - pics on the net. I have the site if anyone wants it. She ain\'t that attractive but any nude pics could be a turn on for some ! She also does have arrests for prostitution and drugs. This is posted as well. If you google Marissa Miller - you will see it. It is available for sale all over the net. In addition, and not to defend either of these crazies - Sloan did post very clearly that he was and never made any threats against her or her kids and stated clearly that he would use private investigators and the courts to get his snakes/money back. Keep in mind that I think these two deserve one another. She is as crazy as Sloan is. She is also a moderator on thetegu and can manipulate what Sloan posts to her advantage. Marissa also posted that she received the three snakes in question a red tail boa, a tiger retic and a super tiger retic from \" the love of her life\". She also posted pics of them. Now she can say that they were from someone else, but she clearly had a relationship with Sloan.

I\'m not taking sides, but first of all \"Lisa\" is lying to us here by saying she is Lisa instead of Marissa and that she lives in NE instead of Levittown, PA where she really lives. Her story is self serving and one sided and does not ad up. Anyone who wants to know should contact Sloan - he posted this on thetegu and he can provide her e-mails and nude photos. I got them and he clearly sent her the snakes and she clearly agreed to compensate him for them - even offering to pay him if he sent her receipts.

Both of these people are scammers. Leave them both alone !

I don't think Deb is looking for the titilating e-mails....but rather, the WHOLE STORY. And I'm wondering, too. It's perfectly clear that this....thing...called Bob Sloan is a total mental case who should be avoided at all costs and should be locked away behind padded walls with a pack of like-minded characters for roomies.

It also seems pretty clear that he sent snakes unasked and is now demanding money for them. And it's clear he is making terroristic threats that personally, I think should be taken seriously and no amount of legal actions should be given up on until someone in authority does something.

HOWever....it is also clear that there are huge gaps in the whole story. While it may not matter to some how these two came to be associated simply because of the depths of depravity that one party is sinking to....it does matter to some. Not that it changes anything that I think about Sloan....but WHO is this person making these accusation? HOW in the world did they get mixed up with Sloan in the first place? The answers to those questions don't change the fact that Sloan needs to be locked away.....but they do matter in determining whether or not this person should be taken seriously in any future transaction or encounter away from Sloan.

I'm new in blue, but here's my take on it.
Sloan's activities are well known to some of us, and not so well known to others. He goes by different identities & uses different emails (like some other less than reputable people have), so I could accept this thread on the grounds of providing information about his current activities & emails...as well as the venues he is using.
Further, he is threatening this person and her daughters - again, part of his M.O., for people who haven't seen it before...and a good example of why NOT to do business with him.

For those that are suggesting that just returning the animals is an end to the situation, that doesn't always work with Sloan...animals returned to him have a funny way of arriving DOA, so the harassment continues.

*This is not to be interpretted as passing any type of judgement on the merits of the claims being made. Lisa/Marissa doesn't deny that he sent her snakes...the only real questions being whether she solicited them, and whether there was some agreement about payment in any form. The fact that there is a discrepency regarding the name certainly leaves room for suspicion. I (guess I) can understand a woman not posting her real name on the internet...but why, then, would she reveal it to some random internet "crush". And why continue with the coverup, once it is out? It's not like she is hiding her identity from Sloan, out of fear...unless both names are fictitious.

I was thinking the same thing, just hadn't figured out a way to articulate as well. Thanks Judy!! It's clear Sloan is BAD news, but perhaps this other person has.......issues?.......as well. The possibility is certainly there. Without more information, we are all sort of left in the dark, at least about half of this equation.

I agree that this person's post only brings up more questions but I would like to have "Lisa" fill in the blanks first.

Although it was a cursory search, I didn't really find anything significant when I googled Marissa Miller. I did check the criminal dockets for counties surrounding Levittown, PA and could not locate any criminal history for that name. Keeping in mind that I believe a criminal history would be irrelevant to the situation as a whole but would lend some credibility to this Roger person, who at this point, has none.

I agree, Bart. The majority of what I found was for the swimsuit model Marisa Miller.

Sure folks have things in their past that they may regret...and I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting some ancient arrest record coming to light. But what does that have to do with being elusive (lying???) about your own name and refusing to answer direct questions about the issue at hand?

I can't recall a single BOI incident where a thread starter was allowed to get away with such huge holes in their dialogue. The more I read of this, the more I am thinking that the truth of who Sloan is is somehow blinding folks to the fact that there may be something equally fishy with the OP.

While it is true that no matter how fishy she may be, it does not excuse threats to her personal well being and especially not those to her children. That is sickening to me, no matter who she is. But that does not mean that who she is does not matter!

And, I agree that this new guy on the scene is not any more credible than the OP at this point. The whole thing smells to high heavens.

Sounds like to nuts fell off the same tree to me. Sloan is obviously insane by his behavior now and the many incidents from the past. But... (again, the but) she sounds a little Sloan herself. Maybe I am jumping to conclusions but I agree that something smells VERY fishy with this entire situation.
And again, I agree Sloan has NO right to threaten anyone's children. That is something that will get you dispatched quite quickly with me....
