I still do not see anything linking got_tegus to be Bob Sloan. He made a comment about the snake being attractive IMO.

I just don't want to see someone who has nothing to do with any of this mess to be associated with such a sick individual.

got_tegus claims to be JD Hartzell and has posted 137 pictures of himself and his collection on RG; including YouTube videos. None of which match up with Bob Sloan's myspace pictures. You would think if they were the same person, atleast one of the pictures would be the same. They don't even keep the same species as far as I can tell from the pics.

It's apparent WTFsHerName has an online relationship of some sorts with him (got_tegus) because they exchange messages on RG daily. However, I don't think it is Sloan, but maybe just another guy she is talking to. Not surprising.

Well, I am human ... after seeing the cute little messages ("is it getting hot in here?" "Yes, it's getting hot in here" .. etc) between Whatshername and Got_Tegus, I did assume it was Bob. There were a couple more too so I just put 1 and 1 together and got what I thought was 2. I guess it was really 3. LOL

If not Bob, though ... it's certainly not surprising. That would be her modus operandi. Now, she's moved on from Bobby and Jim to JD Hartzell with her woe-is-me, damsel in distress tale. Bob is a freak that she should have avoided at all costs the very first moment she felt uneasy.

She should have sent those snakes back and been done with it. No flippin' snake is worth having to deal with Bob Sloan, and if she was so terrified, so fearful and so beside herself with angst, she would have done just that. In fact, that's probably what a police officer would advise her to do!

Yeah, they might have been gifts. Would I ever keep a gift from someone like Sloan? No way!! Sorry ... but that's how I feel. And yes, I have returned gifts from guys I didn't feel right about accepting. Men who would qualify as stalkers (met during the course of business only but men I had to associate with nonetheless).

Note she has NOT blocked Bob's email address from her daughter's account. Note she is STILL allowing Bob to PM her daughter. She wants sympathy? She is living in terror and fear? No, she's playing a dangerous game and playing on other people's kindness for her own agenda IMHO.

I'm not convinced she's even filed a police report. She won't state her name here in accordance with the rules. It certainly can't be because she's afraid of Bob!

I certainly apologize if I jumped the gun in assuming Got_Tegus was Bob. It was an honest mistake. And yes, I know what assume does (makes an ass, etc) I guess that would be me at this moment.

Even if she sent those snakes back ...that most certainly would not be the end of it (speaking from experience w/ Sloan) he would have told her they arrived dead, and then would tell her she now owed him for what they were worth.

She has got herself in a no win situation.

The best thing she can do at this point (if she really wants no part of Sloan) is to ignore him and contact the police in both PA. & MN.

Well, thank you so much for wasting each and every person's time who gave a modium of thought to you or your daughters well being and went out of their way to give you suggestions on what you might do to rectify your situation.

Had too many balls in the air to juggle, did you? Dropped a few? Then you try to get well respected members like Jim and Bobby involved in your "plight" so as to do what precisely? Make yourself look better? Give yourself a little credibility before making a show?

The problem with liars is they have to remember their first lie to cover it up with the second and so forth and so on. Eventually they "out" themselves. You, dear, are a liar.

You just keep pulling the crap you are pulling and one day it's going to come right back around and bite you in the backside. You're probably right. Sloan is just that slimy. Only other option is to pay him the reasonable market value. I don't have any doubt that she and Sloan used one another ... birds of a feather and all that stuff. Problem is, she didn't deliver once she got what she wanted.
As much as I hate to say it, she should send him the $ and again, be done with it. Of course, I realize she probably doesn't have the $ -- that's why she does what she does to build her collection.

If Sloan continues after he's paid, then she has a good case against him. Until then, she's just another liar/schemer.

I would recant on this if we knew who the heck she really is so people could see her and Sloan's true colors together. I still believe her best option is to return the snakes. I understand Sloan will say they arrived DOA, if they arrived at all. I also understand that she will still get harassed by him for a while longer. I do not believe he will make guitar strings out of them.

Looking at it from a psychological perspective, if the snakes are returned, she will have nothing in her possession connecting her with him. Yes, he will still feel jaded and continue with his BS for a short while, only to eventually focus his obsession elsewhere. I doubt the harassment will end completely, but it would dissipate over time. As long as she keeps them, that voice in his head telling him "she still has my snakes" will echo for a very long time and drive his obsessive behaviors for quite awhile. Regardless what the details of their prior relationship were, this is classic stalker / psycho ex-boyfriend behavior, and in that position you do not hold on to 'gifts' received by them. You especially do not post publicly how much you like them.

I understand that no matter what the details of this situation are, nobody deserves having their children threatened. With that said, she brought this nut job into her life and accepted gifts from him. I do think her actions may have lead him on for the purposes of getting something out of it other than affection. I also believe she bares some level of responsibility for the outcome she has placed herself into. If you leave your front door wide open before going to work, then come home to find your television missing, most people are going to think your actions lead to that outcome. Did you deserve it? No. Was it right? No. Are the police going to be sympathetic when they come out to take the report? No.

Hopefully, she has learned something from this. Posting provacative pics of herself online - bad idea. Befriending complete strangers (or those already known to be unstable) that she met online - bad idea. Accepting gifts from them - really bad idea. Thinking that these risky behaviors won't pose a risk to herself and her family - just plain stupid!

Kelly I could not agree with you more. Her profile picture and back ground on Rg is always changing and is always something provocative. She is an attention whore. I saw the post from Sloan on her page when he was sending them to her and if I received messages everyday saying...I LOVE YOU over and over again everyday from a stranger I would find that very weird. But not good old Angelrose she eat that right up. The post where really freaky I was freaked out. I dont know IMO there was more going on then just...you are pretty here are some snakes.

Her profile is private unless you are a friend. Apparently, I am one, as well as 2015 other people.

I contacted Lisa/Marissa and told her that she should call the police in the Hamburg area just to make sure they are aware of possible issues. Although I believe that Sloan is a lowlife degenerate from the reading I have done on him in the past here on the BOI, it does seem that something is not right here with this girl either. I did read the tegu forum thread, and it was obviously messed with, as in the posts that Sloan left, someone had X'd out names of her daughters in some, and even her name in some, but not all. I am not saying that she changed the posts, some or all, but someone obviously did, as Sloan seemed to have no problem putting her information out there for the world to see. IMO, she also antagonized him by answering his posts and asking him questions as well. This does not in any way make what he did or said right, but it makes me wonder what was really said and what was not.
Relationship with a pyscho or not, I personally think this girl is somewhat of an attention whore.
Notice the background and the main picture in the attached screenshot of her RG profile. Also, notice that she is now from DC and not PA...something is amiss IMO.
