It was mr. clark, he who made the ambiguous statement, I asked for clarification, not his lackey, if such is now your position.

I've found that answering for others generally leaves the taste of foot in one's mouth. Is this true for you as well?

I was simply pointing out the fact that his reply of "Go for it" was not advocating violence as you suggested, and was clearly in response to Bells post suggesting that someone show up at Bobby's address with a Sheriff.

If you wanted clarification specifically from Ed you should have asked for it by PM. I simply contributed to the thread by clarifying something for a fellow member that seemed to be lacking some comprehension skills.

Of course, you didn't actually needed anything clarified and were just taking a petty off topic shot at Ed by closing with, "Perhaps one should use caution in this area when one has dis-satisfied customers. Don't you have one or two of those yourself, mr. clark?"

Do you have anything pertaining to this thread that you could post, or are you just here to deflect attention away from your friend Mr. Hill by attacking "Mr. Clark" and myself ?

I asked mr. clark a question, which to me, is quite valid and also pertains to this thread. mr. clark has proven himself to lack morals, standards and ethics and would in no way surprise me by instigating harm to another so long as he was not personally involved. Perhaps when you crawl out of his back pocket, you too will see this.

This may not be a popular opinion, but I have to agree that there's just something about that forum that didn't sit too well with me. Not since my noob days on RaysReptilia.com have I seen a forum that was so likely and willing to edit and delete posts. Ostensibly, there's no longer any direct connection between Bobby and TT, however, I couldn't help feeling that they had some interest in wanting to minimize his negative exposure. I'm not necessarily trying to cast aspersions, just being honest about the impression that I was left with.

Maybe I've just been spoiled by spending so much time on Fauna, where the members have much more freedom to call attention to even the ugliest truths. Either way, based on what I've seen there, if you're not made welcome, I don't think you'd be missing a whole lot.

New to Fauna but I spend a lot of time on TT and I have to say the same thing. Although I learned that the site owner, Josh, is using TT as a website design project and has no interest in herps at all but really just running the site for his own benefit. So that may be why there is so much censorship over there. Regardless, I still tried my best to gather people on that site to file IC3's complaints, BBB complaints, and more. I'm hoping it does something, but we will have to see. Also I got an email back from the BBB on my case and they told me that Bobby did not respond to my complaint.

Its sad to see such a reputable dealer run and hide. this is probably my last post so i just want everyone to know you have my deepest condolences this should never have happend. It just goes to show even the best people can turn to the dirtiest tactics. Bobby Hill at Varnyard Herps has quit the business and just wanted one final payoff before fading into obscurity. I still want a tegu more than anything but now the only breeder with a good reputation is johnny at tegu terra but his are $225 + $60 shipping. I couldnt afford that before this experience i definately cant now. goodbye

Donald, that is a good idea about youtube. Don't go, stick around, this is a good community here except for Bobby and those who behave as he does, and they are a minority.

I don't disagree, but I don't believe he owns the property at 2613 N. Cedar Lane in Panama City ... and I'll bet he doesn't live there any longer.

With Bobby's deception and theft having gone on for so long, I would tend to believe he's been evicted from the property and has moved on.
He likely saw this coming a long time ago and capitalized on his prior reputation. With an eviction looming last year, he did not breed whatever stock he had left, but concentrated on moving and securing what funds he could, taking deposits on animals he knew he would not/could not produce.

He knew exactly what he was doing and who he was duping. He didn't care, because the past two years have bled him dry ... so he bled his trusting customers dry as well.

He'd already paid in advance to keep his website/domain active, so he simply used it as his conduit to steal from unsuspecting customers .. simple as that, IMO.

Karma is harsh. You will feel the burn, Bobby.

I was just going through my user cp and found something Bobby sent me back in 2009 regarding a different BOI bad guy thread where he was coming down hard on the bad guy.

Bobby Hill has turned out to be one of the biggest scammers the BOI has ever seen, I would rank him along side of Chris Johnson of top shelf exotics as the top 2 scammers ever.

Hi, I posted on here back in October regarding the black & white tegu that we paid for in full via paypal to Mr Hill. We purchased for my high functioning autistic son, and he spent 4 months working on Spyro's habitat. I too fell for the weather as NJ did have very high temps and it seemed feesable to me and he was very nice about it. My emails always went unanswered though. I then spoke to him in late Sept where he stated he had 700 reptiles he needed to get outand was a little less friendly but I had asked if I could follow up in a week to check the statusandhe said yes. After this I never had contact again. I did see that his website said he was accepting 2013 deposits which was what led me to join this site in Oct. I was unable to follow up until recently since Hurricane Sandy devestated our area. I went to follow up today as my son is sill talking about Spyro (the tegu"s name) and his number is no longer a working number. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, opened a complaint with Paypal although I have been told thay most likely will not be able to help me due to the time that has passed. I can't devestate my son anymore. Does anyone know of a reputable breeder that has the "dog tame" tegus. He has worked so hard and he doesn't understand this. Everyday he is in his room prepping his habitat and asking is he coming today Mom? I can't handle it anymore. I need to get him his pet, He earned it and deserves it. I can't imagine what causes someone to throw away their reputation and to deceive so many people, but I am here to share this so that no one else has to go through it. i feel like a fool. I went online and read reviews and watched video aftter video of satisfied customers. My son fell in love and I set him up to be heartbroken while I thought I was being smart and thorough. I spoke to him a few times and fell for it and never once thought I was being deceived. This is really a case of buyer beware!! Please Please Please if anyone can tell me of a very reputable breeder where I will not have this issue again, I will be so grateful. Thank you so much for your generous offer. Tegu terra may be an option, the other one did not have a female to mate yet. Do you know if they are tame like the tegus from Varnyard were supposed to be? I may surprise my son for Christmas and get him his Spyro if this place is reputable. I just can't have a repeat. Lol

Bobby Hill never had some magical "tame" tegus. It's all part of his marketing scheme. There's no special "tame" bloodlines. Buy yourself any healthy cbb tegu and house and handle it properly and it's likely to become tame.

Your right about that, I wanted to say the same thing.

Tegus can become aggressive as hell if you don't handle them frequently and just throw food at them you are guaranteed a little monster that you will fear. I would never recommend a Tegu as a childs pet.

Thank you, my son is 18 and we have had other reptiles just never a tegu. I appreciate the feedback and yes he did sell the fact that they were bred to be tame. However, we will be handling everyday and have a seperate tank for feeding that Mr Hill did recommend. I have a case number from the BBB now and they are trying to contact him. I am not sure how that will work out as the ohone number is no longer working. Is this criminal at all? If we contacted the pokice there could they do anything? Seems to be kike this would be theft by deception or fraud.
