In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I will tell you once again..I will not lie and get into a mud slinging debate with you! For you to think I bred the snow to any of my females is crazy.I have been monitoring him everyday in a cage by himself.I think you said something about me selling some adult male bci's .I sold them because I have SEVERAL hets and albino males that will be ready next year and I have no need for the commons anymore. Please don't flatter anyone by thinking the snow has been doing anything but lying there looking pathetic. As far as my e-mails that you are posting when I got the snake. The first one clearly states the animal Looked POOR.I was trying my best to be nice and give you benefit of the doubt. Please don't twist my words or thoughts, because I will be honest no matter what anyone else does.Once again, the animal was mis-represented and I want my animals back.I sent you 10 healthy animals for one cronically Ill snake. Thanks,,

LOL you really dont have a clue do you? The snow ate 6days after being shipped. Did you also overlook the rest of the thread? You know, the part about it cruising around? Dont sound like it has any neurological problems to me? Funny how you can knit pick through his own emails and still be where you are? Amazing.

The snow got here.. He is warm.Looks like he is been through a long breeding season!!! He looks pretty poor right now but I got some breeding males that are slimmed down also.I'll keep you posted and let you know when he eats.

This doesn't sound like someone who is satisfied.

Not twisting your words, just posting what you wrote.

I have to disagree, the statement about the snow boa male looking poor is modified by the next phrase "but I got some breeding males that are slimmed down also." If the snow boa was so unsatisfactory, why imply that it was physically comparable to his own male breeders???

At worst the statement is ambiguous, and Bobby would have had to have been a mind reader to know that Randy was very upset with the trade. Randy didn't even ask for a reversal of the trade at that point!?!?!?

You forgot to hightlite the other part. Does this mean the rest of his breeder males are unhealthy?

When I first got the snake he did cruise around the cage for about 24 hrs but his locomotion sucked he was running into the walls and appeared to be "stargazing"..I guess I was being optamistic and trying to give Bobby the benefit of the doubt.I did not want to immediately call someone that I thought was a reputable breeder and make alligations.I am at the fire station today for 24 hrs and I have been on the phone with my wife constantly. She is trying to get a vet to check him out today. My question to BOBBY PRUETT....If I get documented proof of genetic defects will you give my animals back? That's the bottom line. Thanks,,

Randy Bush

Bobby Pruett,
If Randy takes the snake to the vet and it's determined that the snake has a defect, such as blindness or neurological problems, what then???

Good, dont lie or sling any mud. Try posting FACTS like I have. I have backed everything I have said with your own emails. 8 Days after the sale there is still NO mention of you being unhappy. Even after knowing one of the amarali was sold, still nothing negative from you.

On a 10k deal you have got to be crazy. Stargazing? First I heard that one. Running into walls? Another first. Im sorry but you cant expect me to believe this is the way the snow acted for those for the first days you got it and never bothered to tell me about it. Now that you've had the snake in your house for the last 16days you want a refund. After 16 days anything could have happened. I never even got a negative email from you till the 11th of Feb. Thats when I found out about you trading me snakes from Cagle and having snakes from Cagle in your collection. Thats when I told you no deal because of his past history right here on the BOI.

Bobby Pruett:

My wife is trying to take the snake to the vet today since I am here 24 hrs at the fire dept. My complaint is that the snake was mis-represented.You said he was thin from breeding and that was the only problem. My question to you ..and everyone should agree..If I can prove by a certified vet that he has a chronic illness such as a genetic fault, will you give my animals back to me? That's as fair as it gets. Please let me know..

Randy Bush

Casey,
You think a week is too long for a boa to go without feeding?

Albino species in general are very light sensitive. Tom burns already stated that. Any Albino, including humans. Thay will hide from light and if the lights in the cage are bright without a place to retreat, may actually stress to the point that its immune system is in jeopardy. We all know what stress does to an animals immune system. That is one thing my Vet taught me early on. Like I said in a previous post, I saw that animal at Bobby pruetts house several weeks prior. I never noticed any problems with it. If it is shying away from the light Randy, try putting it in a dim cage.

I am not even going to read all the posts because it will more then likly be Bobby telling you that you are in the wrong.

Thats to bad, I know how bobby is, he is a lier and lies to his freinds just to make sure he does not look bad, I am sure he will never make it right, he will just eventually turn this around and try to make you look bad, I seen this snow boa personally about a month or so ago, it was in a cage with another animal and there was no water bowl and about 7 piles of poop in the cage as well.you can see another bad post on bobby here and you can see what type of person he really is. http://cgiapps.aplushosting.com/~co...nboard.cgi?s=3e52ae227a0bffff;act=ST;f=3;t=29

Bobby Pruett,
What "if" the snake turns out to be "blind!" Would a snake put into a new enclosure bump into walls? Would it stargaze? Would it need "coaxing" to take food? Is it "possible" the snake is blind or visually impaired and you never noticed? In the pictures of the snake on your web site his eyes look "funky". When Randy shined a flashlight in his eyes they didn't respond, but the snake did. There should have been some response from the pupils of the eyes "if" they were functioning normally. Prehaps you should wait until after the snake has been to a "qualified" vet before judging Randy. He may be right or he may be wrong. Either way an "expert" opinion is needed reguarding the health of this snake.

Jim,

I read all those posts, but never understood what the complaint was? You got your Amazon replaced for free and the other guy said he didn't like Pruett but had never done business with him. It just sounded like one breeder trying to run another down. Complaints need to be specific. getting a full refund is not a complaint.

Randy it's your turn now

Randy,
I really hope the snake turns out to be fine, but what were you thinking?????????????? You received and animal valued at $10,000 dollars and you didn't take it to the vet right away!!!!!! By your own admission the snake looked "poor". I hope this transaction ends on a happy note, but from now on "TAKE ALL NEW SNAKES TO THE VET WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING THEM!!!!". If you can't get an appointment within the 24 hour period contact the seller and get an extention, if possible, until you can get it to a vet. Most vet visits with a healthy animal is under 50 dollars. It will hopefully save you lots of stress in the future.
Good Luck
