    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hatched this girl last night, I'm very pleased with her but as you can see she has tail bands. Would you say she still a bold stripe bell?

And a couple of normal bells

'In my opinion if its a perfect stripe to the base of the tail its a stripe. Of course the perfect stripe would be to the tip of the tail. But ya I would call it a stripe.

Heehee....like I've mentioned before, I've very picky about my stripes...I don't know what to call that little one! Partial stripe? Stripe/normal? Heck, you got me. I wouldn't complain if it were sitting in my rack.

Stripe, not a stripe that is the question. That body stripe is perfect, I love it, however as some have said they would prefer the tail be striped too. How about we call her a partial stripe like Shanti said. I'd don't think I've seen one with a prefect tail stripe and just plain old bands in the body. So I don't think there would be any confusion about what a partial stripe is.

I can't wait to see what the boys look like. Especially since I have dibs!!! LOL

I second that, since I get the second male!!! ;)

Very nice Xavier!!
I'd say it's a stripe as well, although in the past a few have enlightened me in saying that it would be concidered an "abberant" due to the tail banding. The call is yours. Beautiful bells and congratulations.

Thanks Everyone for thier inputs

I think partial stripes would be the best term for these guys.

I think to be considered a "Stripe" it should have a striped tail, or at least a partially striped tail. Just like a Jungle isn't a Jungle without broken tail bands.

I would say "Partial Stripe" as well

But, I would have to say she's gogeous, and you have a GREAT foundation for a Striped Bell project :)
