Brachypelma emilia "Mexican Painted Tarantula” and more!
• Brachypelma emilia "Mexican Painted Tarantula”. This is one of the most beautiful tarantulas of the world. They have a dark red leg different than the red knee in B. smithi. The coolest thing is their black triangle marking on their carapace. It looks like somebody “painted” in on the tarantula! This species is very hardy, long-lived, beautiful and fairly docile to semi-skittish in nature. It’s a great beginner’s tarantula, but overall, it appears to all hobbyists! Post molt, this is a stunning species being very colorful! Keep them warm, with semi-dry substrate and with a clean, shallow, but wide water dish. Adults can be kept in 5 to 10 gallon type of enclosures. They are obligate burrowers so a 5”-8”+ depth of substrate with a hide/cave will make them happy. We have currently: CB 2.75"-3" unsexed, $115 ea., 6+@$110 ea., confirmed females 2.75"-3", $135 ea., RARELY offered ADULT FEMALE! ONE CB adult 5"+, female, $295
