Not THAT Bad of a guy...
Innocent? Heck, no. He is guilty as sin. But, the threats to go public with sexting should not be given in to.
Right, so ... no one things it's odd Brandon voluntarily offered said 2K animal to avoid the BOI thread?
I'll play Devil's Advocate here and say that sounds to be the actions of a less than innocent man.
There's a lot of doubt to be had on both sides. I do not care who either participant is. Things do not seem by either party.
I look forward to seeing that, Jendee.
Either way, to me, this whole thing has a bit if a blackmail smell to it. What was your purpose in bringing this here? I mean, what do you stand to gain? Even if a timeline is established that shows 'you win', I disapprove STRONGLY of your methods.
Threatening to use private, sexual material to achieve personal gain makes me want toAs was stated before, I am sure you were a willing participant in these 'convos' you keep threatening to post.
Brandon....I don't know you, but stand your ground, man..
My thought is that, he has at this time that animal for sale. A BOI thread can e damaging to ones reputation to say the least, and if I had a valuable animal for sale that was t detrimental to my collection at this time, I would more than happily send that animal on its way to a new home of it pleased the person at hand.

"In order to preserve my reputation of which I value so much I offered to send her a BWC male of which has a market value of close to 2k in an attempt to prevent a BOI thread"
I agree. I found this odd as well. If he did nothing wrong, why the need to "preserve" his reputation? If anything, this is the place to do exactly that. If his hands are clean, preventing a BOI thread would be counterproductive to proving his status as a good guy, yes?

What Brandon may have feared about a BOI thread was achieved here as you so eloquently stated in your previous post about his lack of proper quarantime protocol. Clearly Brandon made a mistake by not quarantining this specimen and paid dearly for it.
In the reptile business everyone is subject to scrutiny and many people truly care to avoid having their mistakes go to the public BOI. That is precisely why one of the most commonly asked questions at the onset of these threads is "Have you made attempts to work this out in the form of some type of compensation prior to making this to the BOI?”
The key issue at hand though is the board trying to figure out who introduced the mites to the sunglow. We are now in April and from what I saw on the FB status post from Jendee’s account, to this day she still has the mite problem. Obviously Jendee is frustrated of her inability to deal with this remedial issue that plagues her snake. Now in her frustration instead of seeking Brandon’s assistance or asking for some type of compensation beforehand, she post a BOI in an effort to twist his arm today after two months to pay up?
I'm not sure if there is some type of time limitation for a BOI thread to occur but I'd imagine this thread would meet that threshold. If Jendee can post evidence that in the past two months she has sought out Brandon, then her BOI is meritorious in my eyes. We will have to wait until tonight I guess. Is Brandon’s personal reputation worth a 2K boa even though he believes he is not at fault? Well I can’t vouch for him but for me, yes. I’d want to avoid a negative BOI thread of myself at all costs. Did Brandon make a mistake? Yes. Is he guilty of the charges alleged by Jendee? So far the evidence presented do not convince the Board IMO.
Then he needs to lay on the bed he made.
It does not matter her motivation for posting the BOI really when it looks as if he was making efforts to cover up idiotic "remedial" mistakes he made. There are a lot of reasons why that animal could have ended up in that condition, but I would dare to wager that taking an animal you just recieved (stressed from shipping) and throwing it in a cage with another established animal right off the bat (even more stressful) and then suffering from mites (whether pre-existing or not) is just asking for trouble. He did not want to eat? It does not take a genuis to figure out that animal was incredibly uncomfortable in his surroundings and he should have been returned to the source very quickly.
A reputation is a percieved appearance. It is earned, yes, but it is still largely superficial. When you are no longer able to maintain your image because you made a mistake and it came to light, that is on you. Find a way to deal with it responsibly. He offered a 2000.00 animal to keep her quiet, that is about it. If he had nothing to worry about then he would not have done so. No one just flings those kinds of animals around out of the goodness of their heart.
As I said, regardless of if the animal truly had a RI, regardless of if the mites came from Brandon, he is still shown to not be wholly trustworthy, in my opinion. The only reason to throw a male in with a female like that without taking the proper precautions to ensure that animal is healthy is for money and little else.
Even breeding for greed should have a line.

I would agree with your view of the situation if that were the only view, but another has been presented (what if the Brandon were simply trying to hush the shhhhsexual part? and not the whole event?). He didn't post the texts in their entirety according to the OP; that gives the second "IF" validity.
A Vet report may state that the animal had mites...(but since she had it in her house before taking it to the Vet, that really to me, ruins the importance of the report, but presenting it would reliably show ethics on the Op's part. In my opinon, neither of them have successfully presented evidence to prove that either one is the originator of the mites.
Finally, As to the breeder's quarantine practices, the Op made the decision to send the snake there (poor baby) so, she is equally guilty, imo. Because after reading a few comments on the youth of the snake, she had to know from chats, convos, etc, that the animal was a bit, too young. Regardless, if she didn't know, the snake is HER "child," HER responsibility, and thus she should have made sure that the snake was going to a "good" place and was READY to go, so she shares in the distribution of "greed."![]()
Breeding for greed was my whole point to this thread!! Even knowing he had mites he continued to sell and buy...breed all things he should have stopped if he cared for these animals I do not for a second believe he ever tried to feed my snake as I said he ate as soon as I offered food.
It took me a long time for several reasons one I wanted to see if he'd ever contact me or he'd just hope it go away. 2 we were friends. 3.I hate confrontation. 3. He too has pictures of me ..... I'm a mother and not a single one I don't want that getting out but f it!! I'm not going to allow him to be a flake and scare me or buy me into being hush hush
Jendee, really? Brandon buys and sells animal at a ridiculous rate. If you knew him so well, you should clearly have seen that. All he cares about is the highest end animals to turn the most profit. That alone is not really a problem, but he clearly cares little for their well being if he is going to sit there and thrown an animal from another source immeidately in with one of his own to swap fluids.
You are no more innocent here than he is. I feel poorly for your boa, I do, but you should have thought harder about sending him for a breeding loan with no intention of having him quarantined. You may have ruined your male for breeding in the future. Sometimes a male has such a stressful first breeding attempt it ruins them. Sometimes they develop RIs from stress during breeding and then that condition becomes recurring.
And since you insist on bringing personal matters into this, shame on your for being a married woman who thinks it is okay to partake in activities not befitting of a married woman.
Your reputation is tarnished from this thread to.
The only victim in all of this is that boa.
(and especially agree with the bolded part Obviously you guys can't handle me being honest...I'm explaining myself your chowing to insult me when you don't know me or my home life...ill stop being so honest can we get back to reptiles please!!
and to all my friends down there watching this thread go down...don't expect me to be all friendly next time you all have something to say but you choose to sit and watch instead the main reason I stopped coming tothese forums you all just like to watch the drama...ill bring to light what I need to then diseapper again don't worry
