If you want to bring your sex life on here by posting it for the world to see (including husbands...remember "Google?") then hop to it! I certainly do not care and many others may enjoy reading it.

However being honest without having evidence proves nothing, because there are several "personal" reasons that you may have begun this thread (since you mixed business AND pleasure).

If you have a text where Brandon admits to knowing HE had mites, then your thread has a more valid reason for existing. As it is currently laid out, the situation simply looks like a friendship gone south, imo. Because you SENT the snake for the specific purpose to be bred, you can expect them not to eat (for whatever reason).

Actually, I don't think that PET OWNERS need to be getting involved with breeding loans, it's more emotionally-charged than you may think.

What I took from that is that you aren't an innocent party in this, either. Just because someone is 'big' doesn't mean they do things according to what you feel is 'right'. You will find, if you stick around long enough, that SOME of the people who have the best integrity, and show the highest regard for their animals, are people who aren't 'big'. There are half-a-dozen people here, at least, that I would trust to do ANYTHING. That's because they've shown stand-up character, year after year, post after post. Hell, I only have 35 snakes and I've been saying from the getgo that your male should NEVER have gone in with a girl yet.

What you aren't getting is that we DON'T CARE what he told you....you should have looked into it and not sent your 18-month old out to breed. I DON'T CARE if others have done it....I would NEVER do it.

The bottom line is, whether or not you were duped, you made the decision to send him out. I feel bad for you, but not nearly as much as for your snake.

This thread could have easily been avoided if Jendee had approached Brandon back in March or whenever she received the animal in February? She should have asked for a payment of some sort and given Brandon the chance to make a decision to honor her claim prior to a negative BOI.

The background information of the internet sexual exploits tarnishes this situation further especially in light of the fact that a married wife/mother of two just incriminated herself on the internet a few minutes ago. As a father of two children myself, I would probably throw myself off a cliff if some guy had nude pics of my wife and I found out.

Unfortunately, one of the parties in this affair decided to post that aspect of this relationship and it cannot be avoided. It can also be used to establish credibility in general of the people involved here. I don’t believe Brandon is married with children or even in a steady relationship based on his post of random girlfriends in the past on forums. If he’s single then I guess he will conduct himself like a single guy, if he’s married, then shame on him as well. It’s unfortunate that the personal exploits had to come up in this as they are irrelevant to the claim at hand. Or are they? However, since they have presented, they will be used and considered in formulating a conclusion of who is more at fault.

The vet report will lend some credibility to how serious Jendee took this situation. Mites are pretty common and like a common cold, most people treat it themselves and do not incur the expense of seeing a physician for something that is not life threatening. Therefore, if Jendee can offer up proof in the form of the vet report it would lend some credibility to how serious she believed the condition her snake was in. It would add some value to her loss of quality of life from the experience but the value of that loss I cannot determine. What’s the value of the damage to the sunglow that had mites and RI, the cost of the vet visit and the medicines? I think Jendee would need to put forth her demand for damages and that demand is long overdue. That demand is almost a requirement and can be seen as giving the person you are accusing something a fair chance to make it right. Was this ever presented to Brandon? The thread show that after the FB post Brandon offered compensation and Jendee accepted, however, it appears Brandon didn’t know the BOI thread was already posted. Brandon believes he is not at fault, should he pay now after his name has already been run through the mud? Jendee’s glow will eventually be mite free and is not at death’s door based on the recent photo. So is it just for her to receive the 2K boa from Brandon as gratitude for this thread?

On a side note, what was the cost of the vet visit? Can the receipt be offered in addition to the vet report?

Prepare yourself better next time for at this juncture I’m very skeptical that you will actually produce the proof you claim to have and this thread will just continue to go back and forth with nothing more than mere accusations from all sides. There is not enough proof provided to give merit to this grievance you have with Brandon of which you stated your goal is to “show how sleezy Brandon is”.

I’m sorry this thread is not turning out the way you had hoped. Unfortunately sometimes when coming to the BOI, everyone involved can lose. While the OP has absolutely shown a marked lack of class in how she chooses to present herself, and has exercised poor judgement in her choice to start this thread before having her ducks all lined up, I think it may be a bit early for the Nixon camp to hang their "Mission Accomplished" banner.

Some of you may want to railroad this thread into an early grave. I, however, think that at the very least, Mr. Nixon has been shown to have made several poor decisions of his own. I have trouble buying into the premise that someone who feels he's done no wrong would feel the need to offer a $2k (bribe?) snake up to the OP to avoid having this thread go public.

At the very least, I think we should give the OP the opportunity to present all the evidence she claims to have before the masses condemn her.

I've no real interest in being actively involved in this particular poo-flinging extravaganza, but at least let the girl have her say. Having made my sole contribution to this trainwreck, I'm out.

I knew Jerry Kruse in 1994 while a member of the NY Herp Society. I have not communicated with him in years for in 1997 I sold my collection and we lost touch. His own BOI clearly shows that things may have changed since I knew him years ago. So your position is because I claimed to know Jerry Kruse and made a statement that from what I knew of him (over a decade ago), I believed him to be a straight shooter. I don’t possess abilities to weigh the evidence on things today and make judgment calls?

Can you vouch for Jerry Kruse's character in 1994? Were you there sitting with us at those meetings? I was and I can. Can I vouch for Jerry Kruse in 2012, no, but clearly others who are presently dealing with him in this decade can.

I was mentioned in the thread so let me say my piece.

I received a male from Jendee late last year for a breeding loan. He is actually still working a female as this thread is happening. He arrived and I immediately saw what I consider a picture perfect healthy male, great skin, muscular, alert. Regardless i followed my protocol for bringing an animal into my collection and found nothing that raised any flags. He began courting within a short time of being introduced, an obvious sign of health and being vibrant and alert. He will eat readily, shed and poops perfect. He had NO mites, NO issues. I can attest this on behalf of Jendee and her husbandry. A+ animal. I will be shipping him back to her in early May and if my belief is he accomplished the deed with 1 possibly 2 females, the only 2 he ever shared a cage with.

Ok, I'll bite one last time. Not sure what you were hoping to prove with that one. The bolded text clearly says, to me, at least, that you're still of the opinion that he's a "straight shooter" despite your dealings being "over a decade" ago. Looks to me that despite what was shown about Kruse, your opinion still stands.

You're awfully willing to focus on the "sleeze" and forsake what evidence has already been presented, as well as what may yet come. I'm of the opinion that no one should get a free pass, friend or not. Thats me there's no 2 boa guys named Manny Frade. Dave and I had an issue 5 years ago, and he did not know of me so he jumped the gun and wrote that BOI. And for the record since it seems your the JUDGE and JURY on the BOI I did not bounce a check on him, it had no signature it happens when you write upwards of 50 checks a day at the time. The bank would not pay it as it could not reach me since i was on vacation. Regardless when i got back I immediately paid him, im sure you read the entire thread and you know this already but i figured i'd cliff note it for you.

Back to Jendee, she keeps boas in great condition.
