I don't know what it is but I have a feleing its a scam too for some reason. EVerything's just weird about this guy. Below is one of the weird points,,, but its off topic so ill stop here.

I just laid out 6,000.00 MAKING GOOD TO MY CUSTOMERS Who expected me to cover there loss , Even though you hold the guarantee for life , I had to make good because I sold them your FAKE hets.
I try to look you up and find that from here you cant be contacted.
OK, but im out 10,700.00 now

Why dont you surface , Man up and take some responsibulity for this .
Even if its just my 4,700.00 innitial investment back for your chipped NORMALS back .

Had people paid attention to the BOI in late 2002...What was starting to cook was fairly obvious at that point...

Chuck, by you doing the right thing for your customers, in the long run,....people will see that you did the right thing, and you'll get more business. As far as Bruce goes, you shouldn't be surprised. I still dont know how he's in business still. A while back, I drove past his land fill, ....uh, I mean store. He had a big sign promoting taxadirmy (I dont think I spelled that correctly. sorry, it's early. lol) But if anyone was going to do that business, he'll make a killing. I mean, think of all the dead animals he can stuff!

Wow 10,700 I couldn't imagine that...

You should drive down there and hire an attorney. I bet you he doesn't have a dime to defend himself. Make it clear that he is either going to have to pay an attorney a huge sum of money to loose his case or he is going to pay you..Either way he is going to pay. When he doesn't show in court you win by default and then have a lien placed against his buisiness and/or house. Perhaps his state will allow other liens and garnishement of income etc..
I bet you can get a lawyer to file for about 1500.00
Or take him to small claims court for 5k..
Just sucks to see guys like this get away with this stuff..it also encourages others to do the same.

To address the boidsmith , about it being fairly clear by late 2002 about bruce .
I wish I would have known. But I did not assosiate Bruce , Harry , or HCE INC... With digital herp or what ever they called themselves .
Nor did I see the thread about them .
It was alittle more trusting then , not much more lol but I was under the impression that checking up on someone by reaching out to a few large breeders and seeing some pied photos would be enough to set my mind at ease.
Not to mention the microchip thing .
Bruce pretended to be Harry Eisenman when he solicited business from me .
He is a Con Man , And a scam artist .
I was stupid ~ wont happen again !
To address how it got up to 10.700.00 loss
thats easy , (3) female suposid het pieds I sold for 2,000.00 each
I had to satisfy these customers in order to keep my name in this business , and maintain a decent reputation.
I have good friends , family , and business associates in the carolina , georgia , and florida areas .
I think this scum bag will end up giving me something, Even if he is broke .
He hides his fat ass behind a group of younger dumber (so called) business partners, Screwing over everyone he can.
I am contemplating a lawsuit , and lein . And I know where he stays ,
I think this guy opperates like a cockroach .
Makes all his moves in the dark and shadows and scatters when the lights come on .

I like the response saying that the article came from a 2-bit penny paper 6 states away...."The Herald" is the MAJOR Rock Hill, SC newspaper....which #1, is IN the same state as where this happened, and #2, is, like I said, major and not 2-bit.

A bit of some good news...Carolina's Reptile Exchange shut down almost 2 months ago, due to lack of paying rent.

It was stated in this thread....back in 2004, after the "break in".

I'm not trying to defend anbody. I don't know what has went on in the past. But I held those piebalds the night they were stolen. That report that's written in the paper is screwed up. It came from a 2 bit penny saver type paper from a 2 bit town. In the city on the radio they couldn't even get the name of the town right. So I doubt a guy 6 states away is gonna get any good info. The snakes are real, they were stolen by a employee that was hired there 6 months ago. The employee's never bred <font color=red>[bleep]</font>, and don't know anybody worth a crap in the trade. He will eventually screw up and be caught. I hope I don't catch a bunch of <font color=red>[bleep]</font> because I'm just trying to shed some light on the subject. I don't have a relationship with the man that goes beyond me selling some animals to him every once in a while. So I'm not trying to defend anybody. But Alot of you are just plain wrong, and have drawn your own conclusion from absolutely no facts. I also know that bruce is the old mans kid. There is about 6 sons and 3 generations of people that work with animals in his family. Bruce is no longer associated with HCE. He only helped when his dad was ill. I hope nobody here has a dad get ill, any time soon.

As far as the Rock Hill newspaper is concerned,...........it is second rate. That's why I only read the Charlotte paper. I've seen too many times where the Rock Hill paper does not get their facts right, and they screw up a story.......make it into something it's not. It really does suck.

Anyways,............are you sure that his store was shut down? There have been many times where I've heard he got shut down for not paying the rent.....

I remember back in the day, 2003 or 2004, the hypothesis was, that CRE sold fake Het Pieds and actually used the money they stole, to buy visual Pieds, which then were used to "back up their story" about having 100% Hets. Anyone confirm this?
