    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is a plea for help!! I just received a call from Scott @ TLC and have been informed that his ENTIRE collection has been ripped off. Please keep an eye out for people selling high end geckos. I will report details as soon as possible.

These punks even killed his dog!!! If you have any information, please call Nathan @ 713-775-5545.

Please keep us posted as to details as much as possible. Does he have any pics of his stock on a webpage or somewhere that people can get a look at what was taken?
 
Isn't killing a man's dog a capitol offense in Texas? If it's not it should be.

Do keep us up to speed on this one and have him post some pics if possible so those of us not so familiar with the different species he works with will have something to go on.

Sorry about your dog man, that really sucks.

I cant understand why people will kill another persons dog to steal some lizards? Its soo wrong! I couldnt understand why some guys will not let you come to there house or shop and look at there stuff but now I know why! Its total B.S !!!!!!!!! Sorry to hear about the dog and lizards! THATS NOT RIGHT!

Man thats fuxked up, TLC are great people, they hooked me up with some badass animals, and real friendly. It had to be someone they trusted. Now I understand why people dont let anyone just come in. They even killed his dog? I would kill anyone who killed my dog. I hope they can get thru this, and find the assholes who did this. I'll keep my eye out, for some shady adds.

few remaining geckos

The thieves left a few geckos, but stole most of the collection. When I last talked to Scott, detectives were at the scene.
 
I just got off the phone with Scott and needless to say he is devastated. Moreso about his dog than anything, and who can blame him for that. TLC's website is www.texaslizard.com. Like everyone has already mentioned Scott and Kima are absolutely wonderful people. It seems like this always happens to the good guys. Scott said they got his computer too so he will be unable to answer email for a while.

The same goes for me. I'll keep an eye out in Austin and notify the local stores to watch out. I'll post a notice on the Austin Herpetological Society's forum too. Sorry about the dog. That hapoened to my dog and I found out who did, they would be terminated for sure.
 
Get a rope

In Texas , killing a mans dog usually ends with a long fall with a short rope. I hate to hear about this kind of stuff happening to anyone . I'll keep an eye and an ear out of here by the river. Keep us informed on any new info.

Man, that just sickens me. Completely unbelievable, I certainly hope hanging is still a practices art in Texas, the people who did this deserve no better. I wish TLC the best in recovering their animals and getting everything back on track. I know their dog can't be replaced, but maybe they can get some justice.

Very disgusted by all of this . I have not had the pleasure of buying any of Scotts animals but do know he is good to the people who buy his animals along with the animals themselves .

I will be posting this info to the NAROA group list as well as our web site and several other list which have members in Texas . I hope these dirt bags are caught . With the rash of herp theft in just the past year I think it is a good idea to use added security to protect our animals ( a moat with Crocs in it comes to mind :firedevil ) . But really we should be on our gaurd .
