In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I bred my Lesser pair and they had 5 eggs. This little one looks kind of dark to be a Lesser to me though.. I know I could very well be wrong, but thought I'd get some opinions ☺. The parents were sold to me as just Lessers. What do you think? I'm still quite new to breeding. Is he/she just a normal? Thank you for any and all help!

That baby is not a Lesser.
Has an interesting look but, if both parents are truly Lessers, he/she has to be a normal.
Do you have pics of the parents?

....

Yes, here are the parents. Mom is the first pic, dad the second

Post another picture of that one after it sheds, it may lighten up.

Nice Lesser pair (parents). Thanks for posting their pics.
Great that you got a couple of BEL hatchlings.
Could change a bit, after first shed, but, IMHO, the baby, in question, does appear to be a normal ... in color, pattern, and with dark eyes (at least they appear to be dark in the photo).
However, as Melinda has suggested, do post a photo after he/she sheds.

....

Forgot to ask ... what does that baby's belly look like?
Any pattern, at all, or is it white/clear?
If possible, a photo, of the belly, could help.

....

Maybe the female retained sperm from last season?

Having a normal hatchling, from this breeding, would not make me think it is a case of retained sperm.
Could be a possibility, of course (if she was bred last season), but a Lesser x Lesser breeding can produce normals.

....

Thanks for all the replies and help! I got a few more pictures of this mysterious little one :) . Mama wasn't bred last season, at least not by me. I didn't own her last season so she may have been with a different male then.

Thanks for the help! Here's a pic of the entire clutch. So looks like I've got 2 BEL's, 1 normal, 2 Lessers then? :)

Not sure about the upper right baby though.. Lesser? What do you think?

Upper right baby is a Lesser.
You have it correct at 2 BEL's, 1 Normal, and 2 Lessers.
Congrats on your clutch! :)

....

Both of these lesser very clearly have another gene to them, like something granit-ish, maybe that hatchling is a super form?

Normal.
Lesser x lesser will produce normals, lessers and BEL's.

If you look closely both lessers are granite, one of the hatchling lessers is granite and this isn't a normal it's at least a granite maybe even a super.
