In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I searched the forum for about an hour to just try and find an old post about breeding but theres just way to many..

SO...

I am moving into a new HUGE home, with tons of room for my collection and hobbies to expand. So i want to give breeding a try. I have a male ball just under 2 and a female whos 4 or 5. Both very healthy eating great, pooping great, shedding great.
I have no idea what im doing. But we all have to start somewhere, rite? So what do i do? Im thinking i just put them in the same enclosure for a few days then back in their own enclosure for a few day, repeated until i see them locked up in a snake sexytime dance? then...??? i dont know lol. please give me your advice or if you dont want to a reliable source to get this info.(id rather have the info from you guys tho who i can pic your brains with what to and not tos and such)

Thanks for the link. The site seems very helpful. But should i only breed balls in their suggested breeding season? being cool down Oct through ovulation in April? cuz im not too well with patience and now that i have the space i wanna get them breeding asap! But their well being IS #1. so if its not good for them i absolutely wont

If they're ready for it you can put them together now. No harm in it, plenty of breeders breed year round.

The lady I get most of mine from breeds all year. She has some awesome snakes.

Awesome =) Thank you so much guys! they both just ate big meals so im gonna wait a few more days... then let the love begin =)

so im doing 3 days together 3 days apart... and there acting like they dont even know each other are there. any ideas? Whats the snake equivalent of Marvin Gaye?

Really theres no way to get them going, they will only go if the female is ready which might be next year. You just have to get to know your females and when they start acting out of the ordinary you will know she's ready. Such as she might stop eating, laying on her side, bowl wrapping, etc. There's lots of signs but you'll know when she's ready to go when she tells you lol. Until then there's no hurt in pairing them every now. Usually mine are building for a very long time so its not a small window of opportunity that your going to miss, you'll see it for a while and have lots of opportunities to pair them up. I would just feed the crap out of her and when she says no then you can do introductions. Just my .02
